The Iranian women's soccer team was in tears after being forced to forfeit a 2012 London Olympics qualifying match this past weekend because it showed up to play in hajibs. FIFA banned the Islamic head scarf in 2007, saying that it could cause choking injuries -- the same reason it gave for recently banning snoods (neck warmers). FIFA also has strict rules against any religious statements in team uniforms.

You wouldn’t think that the MEN in Iran are the third party, would you? Why this would mean that the women are essentially slaves...and they would never agree with that conclusion (publicly).

I am truly astounded by the comments of freepers here who should know better. This headscarf crap is forced on these Iranian women. On their own the majority if not all of these young women would not be wearing these symbols of mullacracy and oppression — just take a good look at the Iranian community in exile and show me how many are wearing the veil. It frustrates me that even here so many fellow freepers don’t realize who are the good guys and who are the bad guys in Iran.

My daughter played high school volleyball against Dearborn High School. The Muslim players wore sweatsuits with volleyball jerseys over the sweatsuit and a hajib.
Bridget said she always tried to hit the ball in the direction of one of the Muslim girls because they were more concerned about keeping the hajib on than returning the ball.

It is NOT mockery and derision. It is analysis and conclusion.
It is impossible for the ideology of the pedophile prophet and freedom to co-exist. If Iran wants to throw off its collective chains, it must first throw off the chains of its worship of Satan’s minion.
Otherwise it just substitutes one set of evil chains for another.
