They are not going to stop unless they get stopped. And that is not going to happen until the voters recognize the fact that political rhetoric is no substitute for competence.

Our entire battle of big government versus liberty is pretty well summed up by this one brilliantly succinct statement by Dr. Sowell:
“Why are teachers so bold when banks are so cautious? The banks pay a price for being wrong. Teachers dont.”
You can substitute “government” for teachers, and this pretty much explains our national mess.
