Palin, Bachmann Taking GOP Race by Storm
NEWSMAX ^ | 6-6-2011 | Martin Gould

Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin are taking the Republican presidential race by storm — even though neither has formally announced they will run.

The former Alaska governor and the Minnesota congresswoman, who insist they are friends not rivals, are showing all the signs that they will provide GOP voters with their first genuine opportunity to vote for a female in the White House in 12 years.

Each has the money, the backing, and the name recognition to go the distance against the men. And, as GOP Pollster Kellyanne Conway points out, their “groomed attractiveness” is also a major plus.

“They look like homecoming queens, but they talk like Ronald Reagan. Who wouldn’t want that combination?” Conway tells the Washington Post.

This is a much more positive article than the last one I posted about Sarah but I have to say I prefer Bachmann over Palin by a hair.

Well, that’s a pretty arbitrary way to choose a candidate, based on their hair!

What?

Nevermind.

Interesting that you give the slight edge to Bachmann.

The way I see it, Palin is much more “typed” by the media in a negative way, which is going to be harder for her to overcome, at least as the way things stand now.

But Palin actually doesn’t “gaffe”... while Bachmann does.

Anyway, I like them both very, very much I just think in the long run Palin makes the better candidate.

Just my opinion.

bachman is just a vote splitter to take away from palin.

the rinos tried and failed to do the same thing with christine todd whitman. she was supposed to be the rino palin.

bachman is just there to snag votes from the conservatives ala hucksters faux evangelical posing.

President/VP...flip a coin to see who takes the first two years and then switch. This Nation would come out four years down the road roaring. Hell, it would be so strong the rats could ever have another try at destroying it like now.

ABRoGoaaR

Anybody but Romney or Gingrich or Any Other RINO.

Shove ‘em all up Obama’s Obama (that’s where they’re sniffing anyway).

Period placed outside of parens - where it logically belongs (to all those who program).

Bachmann for me please. Smart, ARTICULATE, experienced in business, knows the federal tax code, social conservative, no family troubles and drama to distract voters, didnt do a reality show, didnt quit anything half way through.

Period outside of parens....

Might be the way programmers think. But it is not the way one types the English language.

I just finished reading the latest issue of Newsmax and there was no mention of Cain - who IS a declared candidate! I’m letting my subscription lapse.

Comparing Palin to Bachmann is like comparing the WW-II Normandy vet to the state-side Fort Dix recruit.

A female in the white house. So, let me get this straight, Americans elected Obama because he was Black so the thinking is they’ll elect one or both of these because they’re female? Or Cain because he’s Black? So on that logic, where’s the first Albino Midget Hermaphrodite President? What about a Mexican Jew Quadraplegic? What about a Lesbian Gypsy Bi.tch with a Crystal Ball and a Peg Leg?

When Ed Rollins is through advising and shaping the Bachmann campaign, you won't even recognize her. BTW, your tacky Palin digs won't elevate your candidate.
