Were the “extras” at the request of Sarah Palin or just provided by decision makers outside of Palin and company? How much of these costs were the result of the uninvited paparazzi? Goodness knows Sarah made no attempt to include/invite/provide details of her trip to these paparazzi.

Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore.) another geek who wears bow ties and rides a bike to work. Wonder about his twitter messages?

Another ridiculous attempt to make trouble for Sarah Palin by trying to make it seem as if by touring national monuments (and drawing big crowds) she did something wrong and that she needs to apologize and/or be 'held accountable' for. How absurd. This from a congressional Democrat whose party has refused to offer a federal budget proposal and who wants to pretend this is a legitimate use of taxpayer money and congress' time. That Sarah Palin not only generates this kind of (negative) attention from the left is amazing, because all the pundits claim she is not going to run and that even if she did, she is 'unelectable'. Right. I'm sure Sarah Palin will dismiss this lame attempt to make her look bad for the nonsense it is. That is an easy prediction to make because she never backs down. I like that.
For the Palin naysayers - yes, she was forced to quit the Alaska governors job because of financial and other pressures generated by liberals trying to ruin her. I suspect that prematurely leaving her elected position was very difficult for Palin to do and has stiffened her resolve to not be harassed out of doing something, again.

Crazy b*stard...
The Congressional Livable Communities Task Force, chaired by Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-OR), and consisting of all Democrats, released recommendations which will wean the US off oil, while creating much more livable communities.
“Freedom From Oil: Policy Solutions From the Livable Communities Task Force,” says that our only way to control gas prices in the long run is to reduce our consumption and provide more transportation alternatives. More oil drilling simply will not work because the US only has 2% of the world’s reserves - not enough to affect prices, which are determined by world markets.

I suspect the inquiry will result in zero dollars spent on Palins personal appearances. However, the cost of this inquiry will round up to $20k easily by the end.Sounds like the 'money quote' on this particular thread.

Hey, Dems, cool it. Even Obama’s not upset, as long as she’s riding in the back of the bus.
