Another slap in the face for Britain:...sides with Argentina and Venezuela

Another slap in the face for Britain: the Obama administration sides with Argentina and Venezuela in OAS declaration on the Falklands.

President Obama was effusive in his praise for the Special Relationship when he visited London recently, but his administration continues to slap Britain in the face over the highly sensitive Falklands issue. Washington signed on to a “draft declaration on the question of the Malvinas Islands” passed by unanimous consent by the General Assembly of the Organisation of American States (OAS) at its meeting in San Salvador yesterday, an issue which had been heavily pushed by Argentina. In doing so, the United States sided not only with Buenos Aires, but also with a number of anti-American regimes including Hugo Chavez’s Venezuela and Daniel Ortega’s Nicaragua.

The declaration calls for Argentina and Great Britain to enter into negotiations over the sovereignty of the Falklands, a position which London has long viewed as completely unacceptable. It also comes in the wake of increasing aggression by the Kirchner regime in the past 18 months, including threats to blockade British shipping in the South Atlantic.

Maybe Obama can make up for the insult by giving the Queen an autographed photo of himself.

We have got to get that guy voted out of the Whitehouse.

I knew it was going to be bad, but I just couldn’t imagine the totality of his destructive actions.

So where are the men with guts in the Congress by passing their own counter resolution? Silly me, the only representatives (save a very small number) with any balls at all are the wrong gender to have them in the first place.

Bet the Brit Obama supporters are real happy right about now.

Hell who am I kidding? He could spit on the Queen and they’d applaud him.

When I see crap like this I can’t tell if zero thinks he’s going to win or lose in 2012. I’m pretty sure he’s going to lose, and very big, so I think he’s just pushing every last thing he can get his hands on into the proverbial closet.

The first European to set foot on the Falkland Islands, and probably the first human, was British captain John Strong in 1690. Argentina did not even exist at the time, independently of Spain. The people who live there now are essentially all of British extraction and wish to remain British. The Argentines have no more claim over the islands than they do over Chile or Peru.

Remember the massive effort the Brits made to support Obama? And England further attacked every American with their global warming crap, nearly inflicting a crushing tax on us by giving us Obama. Support for him there was nearly universal. I don’t mind a bit for them to learn this lesson well.

They stabbed the USA right in the back. I hope they remember the sting of this for a long time,,,and the IPOD to the Queen, and the returning of the Churchill Bust,,,etc etc.

Pay attention Brits,,, see if you can learn. No sympathy for them until they support Sarah. “F” em.

Chavez promised that if Obama sided against Great Britain, he wouldn’t let the Russians activate the missile systems they’re building for him until the after inaugural day 2013.

To our British friends - Obama doesn’t speak for us. In fact, he doesn’t speak for the vast majority of the American people.

Try to bear with us - by this time next year, the adults will be back in charge again.

Obama and his flunkies sided with Argentina and Venezuela. The US citizenry sides with Britain and will use this as another nail to seal Obama’s coffin.
