He May be a Dog, but Weiner Will be a Winner in 2012

New York Congressman Anthony Weiner’s sexual impropriety sure does make titillating copy. I mean, take his zipper-like stature, the nature of his transgressions, and combine that with his name, and you have the perfect running joke. And we can add to this a touch of irony. The following is still found on Weiner’s website:

"Protecting Children On the Internet — In early 2007 my office did a study that found that over 85% of registered sex offenders in New York City live less than five blocks from schools, and 670 sex offenders live within just two blocks. Some offenders are even closer, permanently residing less than 500 feet away from unwitting parents, educators and children. Along with several colleagues in Congress, we introduced & passed the KIDS (Keeping the Internet Devoid of Sexual Predators) Act of 2007."

Now, a fellow journalist who used to reside in Weiner’s neighborhood informs me that the congressman’s home “is about two blocks (less than 100 yards) from Our Lady Queen of Martyrs (Catholic) School and about five blocks (less than 300 yards) from Public School 101” and asks, “Does this mean that Anthony Weiner — by his ‘own’ law — will have to register with the police?”

I have no idea. But here’s something I do know: After Weiner is done being a punch-line for nighttime comedians, he’ll survive with his political career intact.

He might be re-districted out of a seat. NY has to give up two seats in Congress next year.

Serious question: Would Tony Weiner qualify as a sexual predator by law?

This means nothing to the party that brought America partial birth abortions and killing babies that actually survive abortion procedures and get born alive, and what, 70,000,000 murdered babies ripped out of the womb?

Think about it.

Not a chance..The House returns next week. Every single Dem will be asked, every day, if they think that Weiner should resign. You think they want that?

Even Chuckie Schumer has disappeared..not been heard from for a week ( hey, that's a GOOD thing..)

Once a Weiner, always a Weiner.
Wouldn’t you like to be a Weiner too?

And Schumer is never one to be camera shy.

Democrat scandals are fun to watch.

Think about it.

I have, and it makes me sick to my stomach that so many people can actually condone killing so many innocents. It may be “choice” but it is also population control - killing all the unwanted, unnecessary and inconvenient by choice should be a criminal act.

And now we hear that Huma is pregnant.

Sounds like he could be set up to resign and spend more time with wife and baby.

I wonder if the MSM will cover how Huma combines working for Hillary with motherhood. Weiner could be a stay at home daddy while Huma continues traveling overseas in service to Hillary. She’s on a trip right now with Hillary.

Agree.

Weiner and Obama will both be reelected as long as there are RINOs running.

Not gonna happen. Will be a replay of the Torch Toricelli episode. Senior Dems will either lean on him to go away, or they will Primary him with some superstar candidate with unlimited funding whom he can’t possibly beat.

He is either dead on or dead wrong. I suspect the latter will be the case. Weiner may be able to get reelected in his district, if it survives, but he is an albatross around the Dems neck in 2012. Reps around the country should use him as the poster boy for what the Dems represent—an Internet raincoat flasher who will display his private parts to anyone, including children.

Totally agree.

BJ Clinton is the #1 most popular Dem politician.

Weenie is just appealing to the Dem base.

All the women want him and all the men want to be him.
