I'd say that these whacked out schools don't have a choice in whether to let parents opt them out or not. Responsible parents WILL do what they deem best for their children.

I honestly don’t know. I have heard of an isolated case or two getting severely harassed by the government.

They sure have to be aware of it, being our next door neighbors.
