Aides soon replied that VECO had paid $15,000 to fly Murkowski and Allen to a Council of State Governments meeting in Thailand in 2004. Palin aides also asked Allen to resign from a seat on a state board that cultivated ties with the Canadian province of Alberta, a request to which Allen -- who was later sentenced to three years in prison -- quickly agreed.

Does anybody know why these e-mails were released? Was there a lawsuit, did Sarah herself authorize it? Did political opponents leak them?
Why are we seeing this private governmental communications being revealed, and why now? Can we also get access to all of Obama’s records?
And the MSM has the audacity to ask for readers to volunteer to help go through Palin’s e-mails.
In any fishing expedition, you will find something. I predict that the MSM and Hollywood idiot comedians, even those on MSNBC, will magnify any issues found, any misspellings, etc. and simply ignore anything which shows Sarah Palin doing her job as governor. They will ignore any actions she took that liberals would agree with, while hyperventilating and manufacturing mock outrage about any matters which can make Sarah look bad.
Why would the MSM take such interest in the official records of a former governor of a state, a governor who is now a private citizen?????

I just read the comments on Yahoo regarding this story. I was shocked to see an overwhelming amount of comments regarding the bias in the media and the way the blatantly cover for Obama and attack her. I don’t think they realize how much sympathy she is garnering as a result of this. The double standards are glaring. In their zeal to bury her they are outing themselves to the point that even Dems are noticing.
Palin had that kind of power? Oh, right she was a governor (something the libtards like to ignore).

I was over at the uk gaurdian alerting them to palingate on e-mails that praised her for a fine job in the state. LOL
I’m not sure I want Palin to run for President yet...but this is just ridiculous. Every politician uses strategies like this! And her’s actually have at least some merit.

Unlike the democrats who smear first and then look for evidence, Palin looked for evidence first.
And how exactly is this supposed to make Gov. Palin look bad? The strained grammatical construction of the article makes cnn look worse.
So the entire world gets to read through former Governor Palin’s emails, but former Governor Blago can’t get or play copies of his own damn recorded conversations to defend himself against criminal charges.
