If the current weather in Hades is anything like what it's been here in Texas lately, you wouldn't expect it to freeze over anytime soon. But could a cold wave down below be on the way? The question arises in light of today's Early Show on CBS, in which all the guests queried ripped the MSM for its frenzied thrashing through the Sarah Palin emails, released yesterday.
First up was ABC legal correspondent Jan Crawford who criticized the "spectacle" of the New York Times and the Washington Post ripping through the emails and even enlisting citizen researchers to help them discover something damaging to Palin. Observed Crawford: "at the end of the day this email rlease may say a lot more about the press and its views than it does about Palin."
In the subsequent segment, John Avlon, while admitting he was no Palin fan, was even more colorful in his criticism of the MSM frenzy, calling the MSM reaction "indecent" and "creepy."

The MSM also has zero curiousity about Obama and Louis Farakhan. Both from Chicago, and the Rev Wright and screwy Louis are pals, and there’s a pic - real, not photoshopped - of Michelle with Mrs. Farakhan. I have heard radio talkers mention this, but not much. But they ask, why doesn’t someone investigate what was the connection with Obama and LF? In the MSM, such a thought apparently cannot exist, much less an actual investigation.

I want to see the emails, tweets and FB posts of the SRM about their joint effort to destroy Sarah. How about releasing those cbs, abc, nbc, cnn, msnbc, etc? Come on, you can do it. - - - NOT. You rooster fish.
The MSN is envious of her...they went to the “right schools” married the “right guy”...and worked for creepy bosses...Sarah did none of the above and she is happy...liberals are unhappy for the above reasons..
Disagree. These reactions will form the reasoning why no interest will be shown in Obama’s or any other “progressive’s” emails. They’ll say that the Palin experience shows it shouldn’t be done to others.Thus protecting the media from criticism when it gives the left a pass in such matters.

People, don’t be fooled by this. I’ve seen an increasing number of MSM personalities, or even celebrities, saying things like this. This is totally CYA mode/trying to make people think that by criticizing their own the MSM somehow has credibility now. There is some reverse psychology going on here. They still don’t have an ounce of credibility, and never forget it. They are nothing more than State-run media.
