The Rep. Anthony Weiner sexting story refuses to stop escalating to higher levels of impropriety with each passing day, and with the news last night that the Congressman had been speaking to a 17-year-old girl surfacing, calls for him to resign are at a fever pitch. On this morning’s Fox & Friends, Andrew Breitbart confirmed there was one underaged girl with which he spoke, and even before that news broke, the heads of the Democratic Party were calling for Rep. Weiner to resign.
Breitbart noted that the news was not exactly surprising to him given the information he had received, but that he had not published much of the stories he had been tipped on because they could not be confirmed. Many of the Twitter conversations between Rep. Weiner and underaged girls were of such a nature that it was possible they could have fabricated them– “these teenaged girls could have had active imaginations,” he noted– and so he waited for more information to come in. Now there is at least one confirmed underaged girl with which Rep. Weiner was speaking– one who was publicly nursing a crush on the 47-year-old legislator.
“I don’t know the appropriate communication through Facebook chat that a 47-year-old man can have with a 17-year-old,” Breitbart noted, “especially in light of the type of communications she was writing about him.” Eric Bolling, visiting from Fox Business to host today’s morning show, asked Breitbart several times whether he believed there was more to come, to which Breitbart noted that he could not reveal details, but “with this guy, where there’s smoke, there’s an Arizona wildfire the size of Los Angeles.”
What’s more, even before the allegations of statutory Facebook-chatting, Breitbart said an “impeccable source” had told him that the scandal had floated up all the way to the office of the presidency: “Obama and Clinton spoke to him yesterday and said ‘Get the hell out of here,’” he said. “I cannot imagine that this guy can survive til Monday.”...
Wiener and Blago would make a good pair for MSNBC.
I agree. But, the moonbats have got to get rid of him; one way or another. He’s never-ending poison for them. I’d be watching my back if I was him (of course, it’s never occurred to me to photograph my genitals so, it’s hard to relate).
A buddy of mine listens to the lib talkers all day. His favorite is Stephanie from Seattle. It should be fun. He gets the talking points and conveys them. (He is conservative BTW)
If he does go it won’t be till after the Sunday morning talk shows.
I’ll bet the Demorats are presently looking for a Republican
with the same type of problem so they can offset the Oscar Meyer Weiner.
He’ll resign. Then five or ten years later he’ll be back, claiming he was wronged. SOP for democrat lowlifes.

I think he knows his career is finished and that he wants to make a deal. I’m betting that he will resign his seat if he were offered a relatively good job at the DNC or someplace.

I recall last week reading that Weiner lied to the president as well as everyone else on the planet- but directly, on the phone, to the president. Not a wise move, lying to the president- no matter who is potus.
Also now Debbie Wasserman and Nancy Pelosi have told him to resign- this- after just this morning or last evening Pelosi said it was up to him.
It seems to me the news about the 17 year-old came out earlier in the day yesterday, meaning Pelosi already knew about that when she said he could stay or go- so is it possible that something more/worse is about to come out?

The man is SICK. He’s now asked for a Leave of Absence- so he can get treatment. He STILL isn’t resigning.
Honestly- doesn’t he understand, the LEADER of his party has told him he has got to go.
Pelosi probably cannot make any member resign, otherwise she likely would have.
He could only be forced to resign if he committed high treaason, or breached his elected responsibilities.
However, since this story has developed awfully quick, there is probably more to come and something very ugly, I reckon.
Then he will be gone.
