Weiner Is Thinking About Resigning (the little pervert is worn out - nothing from Huma or Schumer)

Weiner Is Thinking About Resigning
By John Hudson 08:59 AM ET

Rep. Anthony Weiner may be worn out. According to the New York Daily News, the embattled congressman is considering resigning following the latest batch of beefcake photos and calls for his resignation from the Democratic leadership. "A source close to the congressman told the Daily News that he had been adamant about keeping his seat - even amid daily new revelations of his reckless sexting," Alison Gendar reports. "But the unrelenting media coverage, the demands from his party's leaders that he step down and the appearance of more humiliating photos made Weiner realize he may not be able to bull his way through the crisis after all, the source said." Additionally, Wiener's office released a statement to Politico saying "Congressman Weiner takes the views of his colleagues very seriously and has determined that he needs this time to get healthy and make the best decision possible for himself, his family and his constituents.”

At this point, the bigwigs calling for his departure include House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee chairman Steve Israel.

But two of his closest allies have not yet urged him to step down: his wife Huma Abedin and Chuck Schumer:

the latest batch of beefcake photos

Shouldn't 'beefcake' photos really be taken by someone other than the pervert?

He will announce his resignation about five minutes after he lands his gig with CNN or MSNBC. That’s all he’s waiting on.

Call your Congressman and demand Weiner’s immediate resignation, or have Weiner face an expulsion vote as allowed by the Constitution.

He won’t go without a firm push—from you.

Take a stand. His behavior is a pox on the body politic, and if we stand for this, we’ll stand for anything.

I agree. He’s waiting on some job offer, the democrats can drum up for him. CNN or MSNBC seem like the perverted match... I mean perfect match.

Pelosi is from a long line of old style political machinists. If Weiner decides to be defiant, Pelosi will play rough.

Yep, you can bet that, if/when he resigns, he’s cut a deal for a good chunk of Obama’s “stash” aka “stimulus” money that is coming out of the taxpayers’ pocket. Now we know where all that money is going—into democrat pockets.

With his power and potential future influence greatly diminished, it is to the advantage of all who oppose his ideology to keep him in office for as long as possible. Having him there annuls any attempt to use his office to advance leftist ideology—he can’t push anything forward because it would be weakened by identification with him.
His voters won’t select a good replacement—keep him in office.
Just my opinion.

No, he's an injured animal now. Leave him in so he can be defeated by a Republican in the next election. 56% of his district supports him--but that was before the very damaging revelations on Friday and Saturday.

His district is very lib Democrat. An election now would be the best bet for a Republican to take the district, as a year and four months from now this will be a forgotten memory.

Wiener is not an addict. He is what we used to call in the old days an immature jerk. That is before every human foible was defined as an addiction in need of therapy. Do they have rehab facilities to wring the jerk out of someone.I doubt it.

Weiner probably imagines himself as Schumer’s natural heir. He’s hanging on because he wants that senate seat. Those things are “for life” in NY.

His district is going to be “redistricted” into oblivion and there’s buzz that the Albany Democrats are as interested as anyone in casting Weiner adrift. I can’t imagine any of the party leaders want the Internet Flasher appearing regularly on television.

Personally, I’d rather have the obnoxious Democrat Party poster boy persist in his current position, dominating the headlines and twisting in the wind.

Scumbags like Weiner have and want no other life outside of politics. They thrive on the rush of being elected to an office with lots of juicy perks and the power to, by their votes, tell everybody else what they can and cannot do.

Call your Congressman and demand Weiner’s immediate resignation

???

Why on earth would you not want Weiner to stay exactly where he is? Just on the face of it, if the rat leaders want him gone, I want him to stay.

Weiner is the perfect “face” of the Democrat Party. I hope he has the guts to hang tough against the political whores in his own party who only care about the reflection he makes on the party. The simple scum in his district who elected him and consistently re-elect him have spoken, and they want him to stay. If he was to resign it would be like kicking dirt in their faces. Besides, those scum would only replace him with an equally repugnant piece of garbage.

Hang tough, Weiner! Stand tall! DO NOT resign!
