Agree with you about the Global Warming lie.

Yes there are other emissions, but it’s about CO2 and not Carbon Monoxide like you said.

Perry’s position on the Borders alone should be enough for any conservative that believes in securing the borders. I have noticed the silence about the borders. Perhaps the Perry supporters hope this critical issue just goes away?

Al Gore isn’t running for GOP nomination, I won’t vote for him if he does and Perry never said anything about CO2!

Now, I’m going to take Palin at her word that she doesn’t believe in global warming anymore. But I think it is a bit unfair for Palin supporters to hit Perry on this issue when the record shows that she wasn’t perfect herself.

2 other factors why I think he may have the edge over the rest of the field:
1) only candidate that served in the military. I don’t think the GOP ever nominated someone without at least some service
2) his response during Katrina

Did he not want the Texas Corridor from Mexico?

Yep somehow those goods coming and going have got to be moved through Texas into the heartland.

****
Texas exported US$163 billion worth of goods around the world in 2009. That figure translates to 15.4% of total U.S. exports.

Last year, Texans imported $127.9 billion worth of goods from around the world. That amount represents 13.2% of total U.S. imports.

This is only because he is running for President. Well I hear he is a RINO and weak on the border. Here look at this.

Gov. Rick Perry: Weak on the border, opposes SB1070

http://seeingredaz.wordpress.com/2011/05/28/gov-rick-perry-weak-on-the-border-opposes-sb1070/

One of the comment from the article,

“If Texas backs him they deserve what they get with the illegals. A lot of Arizona’s illegals are moving to Texas and they can keep them. Perry is a RINO and doesn’t even support the people of Texas who do not want amnesty. He is another dishonest McCain and hopefully doesn’t have a chance to win. God Bless Texas and spare us all from another RINO.”

another comment about Perry,

“I’ve lived in Texas. Gov. Rick Perry is a persuasive speaker who looks and sounds good. I pray the voters look past the facade and realize he is an establishment amnesty fraud in the mold of our Arizona deceivers. You’d think none of these people had children or grandchildren since they seem not to care a whit about what they are leaving future generations, just as long as they win their next election.”

No, unless he can convince me that any promises he will enforce border and immigration employment laws is not just another one of his usual campaign season gimmicks.

Pretty simple, while MMGW may be bull shiite, smog is not. Nothing wrong with clean air, especially when certain EPA mandates force state to do certain things. Perry used a common sense approach to accomplish this. Perry's people are suing the EPA as we speak.

As far as Bush III goes, kinda funny Bush I didn't even endorse him in the last election and Bush II stayed away as well. Bush didn't pick Perry as his running mate either just so you know. Lt. Governor is a separate position the people of Texas elected him to.

850,000 jobs as governor and more since Obama has been president then all other states combined. HE has an Obama stomping record. Bottom line.

U.S. President George H. W. Bush, former U.S. Secretary of State James Baker, former U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney, legendary baseball player Nolan Ryan, and several current and former congressmen and Cabinet secretaries.

These are the Bush people who didn't endorse him for governor. For the record, I like Bush and Cheney and Nolan Ryan, but Bush III Perry ain't.
