He might have his heart in the right place but that doesn’t make him right.
Look at how many times all the false End-Times preachers have changed their scenarios for the end of the world (BTW, the Bible translation is really end of the ‘age’). If they were really speaking truth then the truth wouldn’t change over the years as they have claimed.
Besides, how many times can they say it’s imminent before they lose credibility. JVI has been saying it’s imminent for decades.

The shows are great and I watch them every week. Jack is correct and on the money about Obama.

As for Rick Warren, if I’m not proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom, for what purpose would I have to be at any of those sessions?
The Lord never called us to be ‘friends’ with this world, or to hold hands and “Cum ba ya” (sorry if I spelled it wrong) with them who don’t acknowledge or believe in the same God and Savior that I do, just to give them the message of what Jesus (Yeshua Hamashiach) did for them and ALL mankind and let the Holy Spirit (Ruach Hakodesh) do the rest.
Mr. Warren is ‘playing a very dangerous game’ by what he’s doing if Jesus isn’t the main focus here, as for Schuller and his “power of positive thinking, new ageism way of thinking”, thrown in with a touch of the gospel we’ve known what he’s been about for many years now, and I pray to Almighty God that Schuller, Warren, and the rest of them get their acts together before the LORD calls them out of this earth. The truth is the light and it’s either Jesus Christ or hell, and that’s that.

You certainly read a lot into my statement. Perhaps you can tell me more about what I believe. Enlighten me.
The fact of the matter is, TBN and other TV “ministries” have done a great deal to drive away people that need the Lord vs attracting people. My take on most of the TV ministries is that it’s way more about the people that are running the “show” than about Jesus.
The running mascara and drama on these shows is a bit much and that is what I refer to as an embarrassment. As well as the over play of the “gifts” and slaying in the spirit.
Jesus was not about the “show”. This is to what I refer.
In their monthly TBN newsletter, immediately following the election of President Barack Hussein Obama’s swearing-in, Paul and Jan Crouch oroudly posted a photo of their entire family attending one of Hussein’s Presidential Balls.
Furthermore, most people are unaware that the TBN Ministry (specifically Jan Crouch) is officially a voting member of the United Nations. Jan brags about her official capacity with the U.N. (the very organization that was created to begin forming a Socialist One World Government) and when TBN has used every other tactic at their disposal to get millions of dollars from TBN viewers, they regularly show reruns of the video of Jan’s presentation before the U.N. where she gives ridiculously tearful accounts about how sad she felt, as a little girl, when her pet chicken died (NO KIDDING!!); how she has thus far overcame colon cancer; and how God had miraculously increased the amount of toys that TBN donated to the children of Haiti so there were enough toys to pass around so all the children could have one.
However, Jan and Paul NEVER mention how Jan manipulated us TBN viewers with her tears—like Jan’s former best friend Tammy Faye Baker also used to do—into donating millions of sympathy dollars to TBN (from all around the world) we had been told, so TBN could build “Jan’s hospital and clinic in Haiti”, which the Crouch family has never finished nor have they ever spoken of it during all these years since then!
Instead, the Crouch family deliberately withheld from all their viewers—until a year AFTER they had already signed all of the contracts—that they had purchased the Holy Land Experience Amusement Park in Orlando, FL! Had we been told the money we donated would not be used to finish the clinic and hospital in Haiti, many of us would not have entrusted our donations to TBN!
Paul Crouch, Sr. holds his 10:00 a.m. telethon—which he’s deceitfully entitled “Behind The Scenes”, where he reads ONLY scriptures that deal with tithing or giving—so he can lay a guilt trip on TBN’s viewers around the world. Paul then reruns his daily “telethon Bible Study” at 5:00 p.m. so he can catch any other TBN viewers who didn’t watch his “Bible Study” earlier in the day, so TBN can get even MORE donations!
This is in ADDITION to TBN’s big telethons they hold about four or five times a year: each telethon is held 24 hrs. a day for at least two weeks straight.
The Crouch’s use reverse psychology to get viewers to send them money: Paul, Sr. always states “TBN is NOT in debt!” but ALWAYS adds, “...but YOU need to DONATE your tithes and your special offerings to TBN so that God will BLESS you!” He is DELIBERATELY twisting God’s Holy Word!
The Bible says we are SUPPOSED to tithe 10% of our income and that God loves a cheerful giver. I believe we should cheerfully donate our tithe to our LOCAL Church, so it can be used LOCALLY to financially support OUR Church and help those LOCALLY who are in need! Anything OVER the tithe is called Charitable Giving/Donations, and we should donate whatever amount God’s Holy Spirit speaks to our hearts to give to any charitable organization (which includes OTHER Ministries) for a SPECIAL cause. However, the Crouches and some other greedy Ministries on TBN believe that TBN’s viewers should give their tithes AND Charitable Donations to THEIR Ministry! It is IMPOSSIBLE for anyone who ISN’T wealthy to afford to give BOTH their 10% tithe AND their charitable donations OVER that amount to TBN, as WELL as to all the OTHER Ministries on TBN who want a piece of the pie!
When Christians DAILY have a GUILT-TRIP laid on them by the Crouch family—and Paul Crouch tries to convince them that God WON’T bless them OR hear and answer their prayers if they DON’T give ALL their titles AND charitable donations to TBN, that is called COERCION, which creates UNCHEERFUL givers! God UNDERSTANDS we CAN’T afford it and I believe God FROWNS on the Crouches and the other Ministries using such UNCHRISTIAN methods to get money for a UNDESIGNATED purpose that THEY won’t divulge to US!
