I could be wrong, but is there one at Camarillo, CA airport (a former Air Force Base)?
They have a very good airshow usually in Aug.
And there is an Air Museum there.
Some sorts of restorations take place at Camarillo, also, I think.

The air show I referred to was held in Lancaster, CA in 1966, give or take a year. The B-17’s were flown in from the LA area and had been used for scenes in a “12 o’ clock high” television series (NOT the movie) that was aired during the middle 60’s. It starred Robert Lansing as Brigadier General Frank Savage. I just went to Google. DVD’s of the TV series are available.
