Frank: Based On My Past "Not Appropriate" For Me To Comment On Weiner
(Excerpt) Read more at realclearpolitics.com ...
Based on his past, he has no business being in Congress much less commenting on a fellow congressman.
They need to push him for a comment... he’s part of theatmosphere’ that’s been poisoning democrats for years.
He’s pwobabwe wight.
Isn’t a frank just another name for A. Weiner?
Barney needs to be frank about Weiner.
“I like Weiner!” said Frank in an iterview.
That reminds me of the Chevy Chase joke from SNL about the new stamp commemorating prostitution. The stamp costs 10 cents, but if you lick it, it's a quarter.
Is a 'mail prostitution ring' kind of like a correspondence course? ;-)
Unlike himself, Barney prefers those skeletons remain in the closet.
Bathed on my exthensive exthperience with weiners of all sizes and colors, I have to refuse comment. I usually open my mouth for weiners, but I’ll keep it closed about Anthony Weiner.
Frank is a criminal.
Completely agree with Barney Frank on an issue of public controversy.
I must be dreaming.
lolol. If I were a Weiner wagger, I’d be wee-wee’d off that I’m being forced to resign while Bawney is guilty of far greater offenses, yet he is still an “esteemed” member (and I DO mean member) of Congress.
The campaign slogan would be "Weiners and Franks". Two poster boys of the Progressive/Liberal/Socialist party (notice how I didn't say Democrat - that's long gone).
When he heard that Weiner was going to “stick it out”, Frank suddently excused himself and ran towards the House bathroom.
That’s nothing compared to the excitement he gets when he hears that a seat has been declared open.
Yes, he is a criminal. Everybody knows it, and for some ridiculous reason, everyone TOLERATES it. Sorry, this subject makes me want to yell.
Barney Frank is only special if he’s the most egregious. Therefore, A. Weiner has to go — that way, Barney stays unique.
Honestly, I despise this flaming jerk. Somehow, you can be a criminal if you’re a congressperson. You can evade taxes, have mistresses, pay them out of public funds, be a flaming homosexual, refuse to register your auto, overdraw your checking account, make a million laws for other people to obey, create agencies, investigate everyone you dislike, as long as you’re in Congress, you get a pass.
Honestly, this is one of the most corrupt countries on the planet. Everybody knows it, and they get away with it.
Why? Why can’t we get this mess cleaned up?
He gets voted in every two years since 1980.
Tells you a lot about Massachusetts.
Barney Frank needs to be held responsible for Freddie and Fannie since he wielded the most power in denying any accounting irregularities. As far as I'm concerned, for every day of suffering his outright lying has caused, the major networks should be forced to play his denials before Congress at 7:00 p.m. - one for one. A public service announcement. See if he gets elected again after having the entire Country watch him lie- daily; and then in turn pressure MA to boot him out. He also needs to finally be held responsible for his past abuses of power.
“Do homosexuals get a pass on impropriety?”
Absolutely. For someone to do otherwise would be decidedly un-PC. Disgusting.
Frank refuses to open his mouth on Weiner. I guess there’s a first time for everything.
Frank mum on Weiner.
Did they ask Frank for a comment, or a critique?
Thanks, I think.
I wonder when it won’t be safe to say the truth anymore...
PS, You have some terrific ideas, BTW.
These guys are a comedian’s dream. “They plump when you cook’em” — “The Wiener the world awaited” “I’m glad I’m not an Oscar Meyer wiener”.
You’re welcome. I thought you articulated, quite nicely, what many people feel. I think if the day ever comes, God forbid, we are unable to speak the truth, many of us will rise up against this government. For me personally, there would be nothing to lose because I’d rather fight and die than live under an oppressive regime. I pray it doesn’t have to come to that.
I think it’s a finger accessory worn when dressed like the pic in # 7.
When you have no morals, you never have to make moral judgments over the personal failings of others. *
The culture of corruption rises to the top ranks of the Democrat Party.
* Note: Saul Alinsky permits the use of such scandals against members of the opposition if it can wither support for the opposition from their own base. Witness the “outing” of 2 gay Republicans in 2006 and the attempts by the DNC and MSM to paint a trail of corruption to the top ranks of the GOP.
