As I suspected there are two sides to this story. Infowars has posted an article with additional information. This guy is not the paranoid psycho he is being made out to be. What a shock!!!

“...When the shtf, they’ll pull the plug, isolate us, put out the alert for neighbors to turn in suspicious “lilly-white terrorists” and they will be able to whittle away at us one by one. They won’t even go door to door. It will be a neighborhood here, a neighbor there. Tomorrow, a different town, then next door. Then another neighborhood, then you...No matter. Hey, what’s on TV tonight?”

Chilling and true but ... ... ... a few of us are already getting off the couch and ... ... ... it could become a fad.

Tearing them down while seated at a table is one thing ~ firing them carrying a full load of ammo is another.

Hence the need for training ~ even for strong guys.

I'd suggest you might get some instruction on handling your pilot light if you think an M60 and a pilot light are comparable in function. At least do that before you blow up your house!

I believe the federalist party had been out of business for 80 years or so by the time Sitting Bull was an issue.

This would have been REPUBLICANS, right?

Your concern, and support for unConstitutional gun control laws, is noted.

Again...

You're full of it. Did you imagine that my demand for my heavy weaponry is somehow unconstitutional?

Get real.

I want my letters of marquis and I want the firepower out of the public arsenal to go with them.

I think you haven't read our Constitution lately. Best you get with it.

Funny. Privateers under M&R were expected to show up ARMED. That is why they were valuable to our new Nation.

Your lies are getting old. Same old concern troll schtick...

“You feel uneasy because he’s out on parole!”

You are looking at the wrong post. I don’t feel uneasy about the guy at all.

The whole thing should have been a non event and certainly never hit the national media. This guy has never shot or killed anyone. The “shootout” resulted in no injuries. The guy was diagnosed paranoid by the “government.” What is that supposed to mean? He’s a bad boy who does not like authority and likes to mix it up with the cops. Now they are going to catch him and he’ll go back to prison for a few more years. This story happens a hundred times a week and you never hear about it but because he belongs to a militia which is not agains’t the law the govt is using it to gin up a bunch of sentiment agains’t militia’s and anyone who speaks out agains’t the govt.

Its also not agains’t the law to own a fully automatic weapon and 30k rounds of ammo. The only reason this guy is not allowed own one is because he is a convicted felon. I could buy a full auto weapon tomorrow. you just have to get a class 3 stamp which means you get a crimninal background check, fingerprints and you have to have a gun safe to keep the weapon locked up when you are not using it. Of course they don’t tell you that in the article. They want everyone to think its agains’t the law. Not true.

I don’t know what state you live in but almost every state in the union has at least one militia. Its perfectly legal and provided for in the Constitution. But the govt wants everyone to think militia’s are evil. Its always best to look at these kinds of stories with a jaded eye. Know them for what they are. Propaganda.

You only imagine they were expected to show up armed. When they did it was only because they had better guns than the government would provide.

BTW, you are missing the humor in the argument ~ it is that if you start out reading the Second Amendment the way the Leftwingtards do then the government OWES ALL OF US A STANDARD ISSUE WEAPON just so the militia (the whole body of the people as the writer described them) can be said to be "well regulated".

BTW, the Constitution and Bill of Rights were written before the invention of the cartridge and repetitive fire. During the American Revolution Timothy Murphy used a double-barrel weapon ~ considered quite a novelty at the time.

You really gotta' stay on top of history to understand the issues. You know the Leftwingtards wanted to regulate ammunition ~ and yet, when the Second was written there was, so to speak, no such thing ~ there was just lead and molds, and you poured the powder in the barrel ~ so obviously ORIGINAL INTENT cannot be argued to have been to regulate cartridges.

Currently we have a 5/4 majority on the court that stands between the fascist overlords and our freedom. We could lose that. Calling pro-gun people supporters of laws to regulate guns is one of the ways YOU, personally, can lose your supporters ~

Psychiatrists diagnose, not governments.

As far as miltiias go Virginia has one ~ even has uniforms. No pay ~ just expenses.

Virginia once raised complete armies to fight against the federal government ~ and they lost. Subsequently they've found it more advantageous to create Senate committee chairmen.

This gentlemen though was into the private militia stuff just like Louis Farrakhan. And I doubt he applied for and received the proper license for a machinegun.

BTW, it is possible to be entirely too casual about them ~ and that's when people get hurt that you didn't intend to get hurt.

The Right of the People shall not be infringed. The sentence boils down the same no matter how you look a it.

This guys only crime was owning guns YOU want the government to keep in arsenals and dole out on a license.

As I said, your concern is noted for the hollow bs it is.

Back in post #83 I specifically stated: "Frankly the laws regarding machineguns are wrong."

You may be confusing my suggestion that laws on machineguns are wrong with my hope that the gub'mnt doesn't give you a machinegun ~ after all, you yourself have said you can't tell the difference between a machinegun and a pilot light.

I'm sorry, I never said that. I think you'd better pay better attention to what is written and less attention to the funny stories in your mind.

Article I Section 8 provides that Congress has the power to build: "...... Forts, Magazines, Arsenals ......."

Bet you didn't know that.

Just so you don't think there's some funny business going on when I demand my weapons from the arsenal rather than Billybob's Gun Shop.

Did you really just pull that out of your ass? Or do you really not know the difference between citizens Rights and a standing army?

Shall not be infringed. Period.

Congress was authorized to call out the militia.

Now what do you think that means?

If all the rest of the discussions concern private militia, then Congress has authority over them.

Put away the bong fella, you are out of your water on this one. Our Constitution was written for the purpose of having a humane and just civilization. It wasn't written to benefit lawless gangs or libertarians.

“Psychiatrists diagnose, not governments”

Yeh thats why its somewhat suspect that they reported “the government” diagnosed him with paranoid personality disorder. It says nothing about govt shrinks. The wording is odd.

We have an unorganized militia in GA and its totally legal and open to anyone in the state over the age of 18. Don’t think the Feds wouldn’t love to get rid of it and the one in VA and every other state.

>>These white flag wavers are invested in gloom and doom and aren’t paying attention to reality or facts.<<

Well, to be fair, I’m a “doom and gloomer” to the point of buying a small farm in central Kentucky. But I’m no “white flagger”. I also bought plenty of guns, ammo and precious metals.

And seed.
