John McCain keeps up Libya push

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) said Tuesday that a resolution he’s spent months crafting on Libya will likely call on the White House to increase its communication with Congress, an addition that could help pick up support for the stalled measure.

Last week the Foreign Relations Committee postponed a mark up of McCain’s resolution, written in partnership with Foreign Relations Chairman John Kerry (D-Mass.), fearing the measure would not get enough votes.

“I think as the situation has evolved in Libya, and frankly the lack of consultation and reporting to Congress has gone on, then we will be working on more specific language about requiring some consultation and reporting to Congress,” McCain told reporters Tuesday.

McCain was adamant, though, that the thrust of the resolution will not change. The resolution backs President Barack Obama’s use of force in the region.

“But fundamentally, I don’t envision us changing it,” McCain said of the overall resolution. “It will be done in a bipartisan fashion.”

McCain is in on the “New World Order” scam, with the Bush clan, and Obama. I wonder what McCain was promised? His wife is worth 150 million.

Sure Q’Daffy’s a terrorist who more than deserves a quick boot to his 72 virgins, but what’s going to replace him? There is no clear endgame here and we may end up with worse than what we got, so we just need to stay the hell out as much as possible.

One of the biggest issues I have with supporting or voting for Sarah Palin is that she went to Arizona and campaigned so much for McCain in the last election. Appearances, commercials, fund raising, etc.

Maybe he would have won anyway, but she didn't have to make it easy for him, and she didn't have to help him fill his coffers. I'd love to see McCain trying to retire massive campaign debt about now rather than sucking up to liberals.

I would have liked to have seen McCain knocked down a few pegs even if he had been elected with the message the "Politics as Usual" isn't cutting it any more.

McCain has not changed one iota since before the 2008 election, unless it has been to cozy up even more with the liberals, other countries (looking at you Mexico) and now with Obama himself.

I know people say that she "owed" McCain, but I reject that outright. "Politics as Usual" is harmful to America and harmful to our interests.

With all of the sickening left-loving McCain has done since 2008, I will need to hear some clear specifics about why she supported him, before I can commit to supporting her in the future.

/sorry to change the subject, but this comes to mind every last time McCain gets himself in the news by sticking his nose in things in the name of "reaching across the aisle". Grrrrr.

Handpicked by the Mainstream Media...originally to allow Hillary Clinton to ascend to the presidency.

Then the perfect storm happened and an even more Marxist and PC candidate appeared from the shadows and pushed her aside.

Didn’t matter though. McCain remained the willing dupe regardless of the opposition.

Continued treatment as royalty. As one of the favored few it is easier he understands why our Senators and Congressmen wish to remain in office until they are physically and mentally unstable.

Why do you refer to the “New World Order” as a scam? I view it as a well thought out plan to control the world’s economy and population.

I can hardly type this without gritting my teeth, but the correct answer is, "It was his turn".

I have the sick, sinking feeling that its going to end up being Romney's "turn" this time. I so want to be wrong.
