And to think some people call him a “kook.”

Looks like he’s been doing well, and is well-prepared for what’s ahead. I’d add some pure bullion to the mix, as it’s way to heavy on miners.

Texas congressman and Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul — who is campaigning as a critic of congressional overspending — has revealed that he is requesting $400 million worth of earmarks this year.

The Wall Street Journal reports Paul’s office says those requests include $8 million for the marketing of wild American shrimp and $2.3 million to pay for research into shrimp fishing.

A spokesman says, “Reducing earmarks does not reduce government spending, and it does not prohibit spending upon those things that are earmarked. What people who push earmark reform are doing is they are particularly misleading the public — and I have to presume it’s not by accident.”,2933,292334,00.html

I do believe that pegs the “non-diversified” needle.

“Coeur D’Alene Minds Corp. “
Digging for sanity in a pile of liberal dung?
Pretty sure that should be Couer D’alene Mines (CDE).

“And to think some people call him a kook”
Actually mostly just the JDL goon squad that piles onto any thread which mentions his name.
I guess they will be here sooner or later.

He made more sense than anyone in the debate. But, he can’t win! The Mavericks couldn’t beat Miami either. That’s why they didn’t play. Oh, wait! They DID play. How the heck did they win?

Darling of the Tea Party?

That's just the media trying to push a leftist at us again.

They think we're stupid enough to believe that tripe.
