Or even a guy who MIGHT have a handgun. Nowadays in most urban settings the only people armed are either cops or those who wouldn't do anything for anyone else.

Until the mob gets its hands on it, then it’s the mob with your automatic M16.
Law enforcement needs to study every pic and video to identify these thugs. They need to then arrest them and then hand them the bill for all the damages.
If they cannot pay, take it out of their checks until it is paid off. And it shouldn’t matter if it takes some of them 20 years to pay.
This is the type lesson idiots need to learn.
Better to go down fighting and refusing to be a victim while taking out the Leftist scum than to let just them do what they did.
That’s a defendable position, IMO.
It would also be defendable under Canadian law, because you are allowed to use proportional force to stop somebody from harming you.
Just so you know, Halo or Duke Nukem tactics never really win in real life. You can take a stand against a mob, but then, within a couple of minutes, your stand is finished.

Amazing that those two girls had to beat off the idiots who kept trying to get to her car. Since this is Canada, and she wouldn’t be allowed to have a gun, it’s too bad she didn’t have a baseball bat so she could wail on those losers.

Agreed. It seems like there are more and more men willing to ignore injustice and corruption because it’s easier to stand by and watch than to do the right thing.
And just think of how fast the cops would show up to protect the thugs!
The protection of life and private property are paramount with life having priority, of course!
I’d rather testfy as a witness, knowing they will be held accountable, then to try and stop what is beyond my ability to stop.
