Whatever... It wasn't Pollard's job to determine (or undermine) US foreign policy.

Anyway, the little weasel was selling classified information to countries like South Africa and Pakistan (and finally got nailed trying to sell to Australia - Australia!) because he needed the money to support his cocaine habit.

That greedy little scumbag is right where he belongs.

Correct, and he did time for it, as he should.

However in retrospect, the information he passed on saved lives. It’s only unfortunate he didn’t act as a whistleblower instead.

By the way, since you didn’t source your information - I’ll help. You’re repeating accusations which never saw trial, from the head of the team that put together the file on him. Most every elected official who has reviewed that file since has determined the matter was overblown and that he’s served an above fair sentence and should be pardoned.
