You are both wrong on this.

What about the two words: INFORMED CONSENT
and the words CONSTITUTIONALLY PROTECTED RIGHTS
do you really not understand?

Perry did an evil thing by forcing untested
“medications” on the helpless for $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.
Perry has not admitted it.
He thus shows a paucity of Conservative judgment.

Perry would keep ObamaCARE/RomneyCARE if the
payoffs to him $$$$$$$$$$$$ were enough again.

Sorry, NO SALE.

Gardasil® Developer Claims Vaccine Prevents Abnormal Pap Tests, Not Cervical Cancer.
February 14, 2011
By Marian
Truth About Gardasil was recently given the opportunity to ask Dr. Diane Harper some questions about the HPV vaccines, she helped create. Below you will find the first and second installments of our three part series.

Our latest segment: In this segment she states that the HPV vaccines prevent abnormal pap tests, NOT cervical cancer.

http://www.free-press-release.com/news-gardasil-developer-claims-vaccine-prevents-abnormal-pap-tests-not-cervical-cancer-1297697975.html

Our first in the three part series. In this segment, she discusses the use of the HPV vaccines in men and boys. Read her statement about how she feels the FDA has given merck a ” blanket approval to use Gardasil® in males and females 9-26 years old without making it clear to parents or males/females that the only data for male cancer preventions is in MSM (gay men) NOT in heterosexual men”.

The question of Bilderberg which Perry attended is not one that’s going to go away.

Back in 1991, as the presidential campaign cycle was gearing up and the vetting of prospective candidates was under way, a young, charismatic and attractive, but theretofore relatively obscure governor of a conservative southern state was invited to attend that year's Bilderberg conference, to "get acquainted" with the powerful and influential movers and shakers of the global elite.

Subsequently, this governor's media profile, favorable press coverage and support from this country's political establishment began to improve and increase markedly. He then easily secured his party's nomination and won the presidency in 1992 against a previously immensely popular incumbent president who ran an inexplicably lame, desultory and incompetent campaign.

His name was William Jefferson Clinton.

You say the question won't go away. Perhaps not, at least among those few who remember history, are able to perceive the long-term patterns of interconnected power relationships and connect the dots, and have the intellectual honesty to acknowledge them.

The question may not go away, but it will simply be ignored. The human capacity for denial and rationalization is almost infinite. When coupled with the abysmal ignorance of most of the citizenry, we have probably reached the point where it will be sufficient to finally complete the destruction of the constitutional Republic bequeathed to us by the Founders.

I found the LINK. I posted the LINK. Why are YOU trying to say this vaccine is killing girls. That’s over the top. If people think it prevents STDs or HIV, Aids or other causes of cervical cancer that is not Rick Perry’s fault. Good grief!

IT IS their advertising. Just as I reported in my post before yours. I have been talking about a 4 year old HPV vaccine that was addressing 4 HPV cervical cancer concerns.

I have seen many sites that do not approve of vaccines (sites are a dime a dozen) as we have all seen with families who have an Autistic child (I know something about this so don’t start) who want to find someone (preferably with deep pockets) to blame.

I do not NEED to “absolve’ Perry (your contempt by refusing to capitalize his name tells me a lot) but you seem to need to diminish him.

So, who are you supporting in the primary?

-——conservative website spends so much time bashing conservatives ——

I have a different view.

The process is not bashing but proclamation of self righteousness.

Self esteem is increased by taking the sanctimonious single or narrow issue high ground. The ability to tell associates “I told them blah blah blah” is a powerful motivator and feel good enhancer.

Thank you. I have read many disturbing issues involving the vaccine. If people want to vaccinate their young girls, or boys... whatever. Not me. Some people just stand in line without reading any sort of information OR see what occurs in the initial trial runs for a period of time. I will tell you this: the woman that I know who relied upon her doctor’s suggestion is worried to death and guilt ridden. The idea that her beautiful daughter may not have the chance to have a child or may have to undergo fertility issues is one that is haunting her.

I agree it needs to be studied a lot longer. Here’s the bugaboo about the immunization, which is supposed to last throughout one’s lifetime, BTW. All the doctors I’ve seen on TV explaining it have said that it must be given before the age of 15 (either 14 or 15, can’t remember which) or it will not work or protect against the HPV, which often leads to cervical cancer at some point in a woman’s life. So the fact that it was called for at such a young age had nothing to do with sexual activity. It’s for protecting throughout the future. In other words, the docs said if a woman wanted to get the shot in her 20’s, it wouldn’t do any good.

I found the LINK. I posted the LINK. Why are YOU trying to say this vaccine is killing girls.

Maybe because it IS. I also posted LINKS. And you still have not answered the question of WHY rick perry went ahead and tried to mandate this vaccine before it was fully vetted. Are you sayng that none of the side effects named here are true? From the creator of the drug itself? Instead you would rather pick a fight with me?
Make up your mind. Do you think perry did the right thing? You never answered. Would you force your YOUNG daughters to have this vaccine? Or would you rather find another LINK that is erroneous? These tests were CANCELLED in India because the damn stuff KILLED people. Why are you callng me liar?

I see Perry signed this in 2007.
How about we examine the FACTS from 2006?

2006 population of women per the census was 151,795,031.

Number of cervical cancer cases
diagnosed in 2005 per the CDC was 11,999.

That means that 00.07904% of women
were diagnosed with cervical cancer.

Number of deaths by cervical cancer in 2005 were 3,924.

Percentage of deaths were 00.00258%.

The problem is
1. Long term effects of Gardasil are still unknown.

2. This drug was not adequately tested on girls given
its known side-effects

3. Cervical cancer is both curable if early, and uncommon.

In that light, what Perry did cannot be excused,
and he certainly has not addressed it.

BTW, it’s “Cincinnatus” if you are referring to the ancient farmer-soldier-hero, not “Cincinatus” and in India, many DEATHS and INJURIES due to the vaccine were the reason it was banned, nothing to do with the ads. The fact is, the drug has caused more than 3,000 injuries and several deaths here in the States, too. What dog do you have in this anyway? You are defending Perry’s close ties to Merck and the lobbyists and it’s a little mysterious to me. Facts are facts. Perry used bad judgement and bought the lies of the drug company about the efficacy and safety of this vaccine.

>>> This is pure spin of old news by the left to try and derail Perry. The left is scared to death of him.

Well in this case, I don’t think I’d blame the “left”, though certainly that would come if Perry jumped in the race and won the nomination.

But meanwhile the Palin and Romney supporters have a common concern here since Perry is best situated to leave each in the dust. And the Paulites have an ongoing mischief interest in disrupting any republican campaign. So take your pick.

Not referring to op but the people pushing the stories.

“A pap smear never harmed anyone,” says Dr. Diane Harper, lead developer of Gardasil®,
snip
When asked to clarify her statement about pap smears, she stated, “The best way to prevent cervical cancer is with routine Pap screening starting at age 21 years. Vaccination cannot prevent as many cervical cancers as can Pap screening. Pap screening with vaccination does NOT lower your chances of cervical cancer - Pap screening and vaccination lowers your chances of an abnormal Pap test. Gardasil® is associated with GBS [Guillian-Barre Syndrome] that has resulted in deaths. Pap screening using a speculum and taking cells from the cervix is not a procedure that results in death.” She further tells us, “Gardasil® can be offered along with Cervarix® as an option to prevent abnormal Pap test results in those women who can make an informed decision about how much they value this benefit compared to the rare risk of GBS. If a woman has no access to Pap screening, receiving HPV vaccines may help reduce cervical cancer IF the vaccines last long enough. At this time, Gardasil® is proven to last for at least 5 years, and Cervarix® for at least 8.5 years. Health policy analyses show that there will be no reduction in cervical cancer unless the vaccine lasts at least 15 years

REPEAT
Pap screening with vaccination does NOT lower your chances of cervical cancer -
REPEAT
Gardasil® is proven to last for at least 5 years, and Cervarix® for at least 8.5 years. Health policy analyses show that there will be no reduction in cervical cancer unless the vaccine lasts at least 15 years

Thank you for letting me know. It's been some years since a FReeper took the time to correct that spelling. I'm sure your attention to my FReeper name will add so much weight to your post. It must have been bothering you for a long time.

BTW -- Cincinnatus was taken so my husband picked Cincinatus and I posted using his sign in and adding "Cincinatus' Wife" to the end of each post (did that for about a year or so before signing in under my own name).

Now professor browniexyz, how's life treating you?
