House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Darrell Issa (R.-Calif.) told CNSNews.com in an interview that he believes the Justice Department is covering up information relevant to a congressional investigation of an operation in which the department knowingly allowed intermediaries of Mexican drug cartels to purchase guns at licensed firearms dealers in the United States and then get away without being arrested or the guns being retrieved.
Last December, two of those guns ended up at the scene of the murder of a U.S. Border Patrol agent who was killed by alleged agents of the Mexican drug cartels.
Issa pointed to two things he says indicates a Justice Department cover up. First, he cites a letter that Assistant Attorney General Ronald Weich, head of the Justice Department’s office of legislative affairs, sent to Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa), the ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Feb. 4, 2011. Issa characterizes that letter as a “lie.”

The entire now failing obama regime knew about the channel running guns from US dealers through to Mexico and distribution to the drug cartels. Recall the remarks that the “majority” of the arms recovered from those crossing the border illegally were of US origin? This was a playbook move by the regime, mouthed by SOS Herself, the Cold and Heartless, and at various levels throughout the Cabinet level officers and their various underlings, none louder than Eric the Place-Holder.
Of course, none of this rises to the level of impeachment.
Prosecute him for perjury and send him to prison. Not a white collar prison but a real hellhole. Give him a violent cellmate.
Try to get him to testify against other Democrats with the offer of a reduced sentence.
I believe Issa has documentation that makes Holder’s testimony that he took an oath before testifying PERJURY.
As well as the Assistant Attorney General Ronald Weich, slipped up in the very end of the last hearing. Issa asked him for the authors of a Jan, DOJ stamped official letter and Assistant Attorney General Ronald Weich, said “Executive branch,” either will check with them or they wrote it?

Yeah they may give him immunity if he tells THE TRUTH of details on how he was ordered this by the POTUS. Since AG Holder knew of this; then Obama has already lied as he is on video tape saying he nor Holder authorized F&FGate. In following all of the legal protocol. It could come down to Obama being under oath in a special sworn deposition?Can Issa get this or does it have to go to impeachment process to get a sitting POTUS under Oath?
Yes, if our justice system was color blind, that’s what would happen.
It’s not. Holder’s skin color and political affiliation make him immune from prosecution for perjury.
Hopefully, Issa won’t let up.
