"We have reinvigorated the important work of our Civil Rights Division. Not only is this office once again open for business, it has never been stronger," Attorney General Eric Holder said at a speech to the American Constitution Society.
"Now, some of you know during this administration's first fiscal year the Department filed a record number of civil rights criminal cases," Holder added.
"We've also expanded enforcement efforts to guarantee that in our work places, our military bases, in our housing and lending markets, in our voting booths in our border areas, in our schools and places of worship. And I mean all places of worship," Holder also said.

Okay, Eric, so now you’re investigating civil rights violations? Good. How about having a little bit of integrity and starting with the people in your own department that violated the rights of every person victimized by the Mexican drug gangs and other criminals that got weapons via straw purchases THAT YOUR DEPARTMENT ARRANGED. Keep in mind that all of these civil rights violations (specifically including injuries and deaths) were perpetrated under color of law.
Oh, and while you’re at it, you might want to be an honest AG and ask the President to appoint a special prosecutor to investigate the entire “Fast and Furious” program for its clear intent to deprive ordinary, law-abiding citizens of this country of their 2nd Amendment rights.
Note that I’m not holding my breath for you to be honest or to have any integrity - but I thought that I’d remind you of your job, and of the oath you swore to back in 2009.

I don’t think Holder will be around much longer. His political days are numbered. Gunwalker is going to catch up with him. The question is really, how much damage can he do before he is out.
Islam is in the clear as long as they don’t get public on the gay bashing. Westboro Baptist will be interesting to watch. Tea Party will be main focus overall.

Holder should be investigated, and removed from office. He should also be answering some hard questions about “Fast and Furious”. And we should be asking what BO knew and when he knew it. How about the dropped case against voter intimidation? The lack of federal action taken against immigration violations? How about the mishandling of Fannie and Freddie by Frank and Co.? Or the mishandling of taxpayer money via the “stimulus” bill? And it goes on and on...
This WH and JD have been involved in crime after crime against the American people, and these are actions that make Watergate and Clintongate look like the actions of rank beginners.
They are Holder’s people, thus enemy’s of the USA.
I agree, I'm actually surprised he has lasted this long since he was never really an Obama insider and was brought in to appease the Clintonistas. Since then he has done little more than cause controversies for the administration and while I have no doubt Obama agrees with his race baiting ideology. I think Obama prefers the type the work quietly behind the scenes. If Holder makes it to 2012 I will be surprised, but even if Obama is reelected I don't see him in the next administration.

La Raza was a lame radical leftwing student organization in the 1960s-1970s, and never amounted to much after that. It was aging and nearly defunct until the Dems decided to take it up officially. So don’t think La Raza speaks for Hispanics! It’s a wholly-owned subsidiary and pressure group of the Democratic Party.
That said, blacks don’t like Hispanics any more than they like Northern European whites, and I think Holder and the half white, half foreign, defensive, self-identified-black Obama between them are doing everything to destroy race relations in this country.
Still, since when did “gays” get to ride in on the black “civil rights” agenda?
There are 3 groups that are sacred right now under Obama: blacks, Muslims and gays. They may have mutually conflicting goals among themselves, but I think they’re functioning on the “enemy of my enemy is my friend” model.

That also ticks me off - it clearly isn’t true, and at the least it is the mark of someone who is intellectually lazy. More probably, it is an easy fit into their prejudicial views. I know lots of Jews who are anything but politically liberal.

When are the Repubs in Congress going to mention the enforcement of sexual perversion on everyone and the concommitant destruction of the freedoms of speech, association and relgion????? All I hear is the sound of silence. WHY? I want to know.
We all want to know the answer to that question. These policies are going to do nothing but segregate everyone, further dividing our nation into groups who don’t associate with each other. They have already caused MANY to stay home, as much as possible, rather than be offended by what they are forced to see and hear in “public”.
What these fools know, that dupes refuse to hear, is that laws/policies etc DO NOT govern peoples actions. They simply punish after the fact. While these same laws/policies actually discourage civilized behavior. THAT is what is wrong with our country.
