Prison time? Should be precursor to execution of death sentences, according to relevant sections of US Code, specifically deprivation of civil rights under color of authority, and the RICO Act. In a justly administered nation, that is what we would be seeing.
Keep an eye out and see what actually occurs, though, and it will speak volumes as to exactly how corrupt FedGov, Inc. really is...

It is remarkable it took 6 months to force this guy out. I guess he was the stop gap, cut their losses with him. Maybe they are trying to find some job for him so he keeps his mouth shut.
It is beyond the pale to believe that someone who is “acting” in any capacity in government would authorize a program such as this with all the implications without having had higher authority to do so. If Congress abrogates its responsibility to keep looking and to keep the heat on, they should resign with him.
So what if the head of ATF quits over Fast and Furious. Will that mean the issue just goes away? Real justice dictates that the head of the ATF, the Obozo and Holder should all be charged at least for being accomplices to murder. After all, getting charged as accomplices happens all the time to Mafia criminals.

Agreed. Melson has been around the D.C. area in govt jobs first at the state level and then with the Federal govt. He is a career govt employee and I do not think he is going to quietly and dutifully take a fall for Frick and Frack.
I think this one came from the President and could probably be proven if anyone really wants to.
For one thing it is known that Obama believes he can get gun control on the sly. He has basically said as much. For another, something as sensitive as this could not have been started by an underling no matter how high up.
It probably would take putting Holder in jail or at least the threat of it before he would admit it. For some reason these rats are pretty good about taking the heat and not ratting out their boss.
Remember all the Clinton underlings who went to prison without divulging a thing?
