Reuters) - President Barack Obama reassured Jewish donors on Monday he strongly supports Israel, stressing close ties between the United States and the Jewish state, but also emphasizing that changes in the Middle East will require a fresh look at the region.
"Both the United States and Israel are going to have to look at this new landscape with fresh eyes. It's not going to be sufficient for us just to keep on doing the same things," Obama said at the first of two big-ticket fund-raisers where he was speaking on Monday evening.

I look at this new landscape with fresh eyes, and want Judah and Samaria annexed yesterday, although I’ll compromise and settle for doing it today. Oh, yes. Arabs get citizenship if they want it, just like in Jerusalem. We’ll provide a discrete entrance to the Misrad Hapnim, so their lives won’t be endangered for doing the only smart thing. Oath of loyalty, though, same as any other applicant.
If you talk to Israelis they are simply bemused by the current POTUS. They think he’s a clown who has spent his life under the spell of murderous Islamists.

After investigation, with the help now of several others, the purported group "Americans in Support of a Strong U.S.-Israel Relationship" has no media mention anywhere other than the June 20th dinner, no web site, no phone number, no address, nothing.
It appears to be only a means of bundling contributions to Obama under the pretense of an interest in Middle Eastern affairs.
I have so far failed to find any independent information about this "group", leading me to strongly suspect that they are a Potemkin entity whose only purpose is to funnel finance law-exempt cash to Obama's re-election campaign by way of a small group of wealthy party donors.
