Jon Stewart has reacted to his interview with Chris Wallace on Fox News to claim that he was unfairly edited to appear like 'a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown'.
The Daily Show Host appeared on Fox News Sunday with Wallace for a heated debate on political bias in the media.
The two men were caught in passionate clashes of opinion as Stewart claimed that Fox pushed a right-wing agenda.
But speaking on his own Comedy Central show on Monday evening, Stewart said that the show's producers had tampered with the interview. He said that he came across as 'emotional and erratic'.
'I suggest you look at the unedited version online where my emotional states don't seem to change so arbitrarily,' he said.
'The arguments are a little clearer and a little less like a scene from woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

So this half-wit admits that his emotions did change...
No they didn’t Jon, that was the real you. Comedians should be able to laugh at themselves. That is what makes them able to laugh at others and still be liked.
You fail, Jon.
Will Jon, “If the shoe (or high heel) fits”..
If the editors at FNC can make THAT guy look like
a woman, those are some DARN good editors......
What I saw of the interview was clearly edited. Whether it was done “fairly” or not, I have no way of knowing.
Dang those Fox editors are good with their humiliating editing tricks.
Gee, isn’t that just so sad. Jon made his career cutting and pasting his targets in their worst appearing moments and now complains someone did that to him. Poor w’ittle Jon. Jon, Jon. There now, Jon.
sheesh...what a thin skinned wuss...
Stewart now knows how Governor Palin feels.
Translation: “I did a lousy job during my appearance on Fox.”
John, most people watch what they like, and that’s why the Fox audience is a LOT BIGGER than yours.
I hope I am not being too PC, but isn't that a bit sexist?
Liberals must not own mirrors.
If they did indeed “edit” Jon Steward to appear to be a hysterical woman( isn't he always like a hysterical woman anyways?), they still wouldn't even come closerto the editors at the cBS and the “job” they did on the Sarah Palin/Katie Couric interview.
Funny how the vermin of the lame stream media are quick to claim victimhod at the slightest attempt to give them a taste of the bitter medicine they have been dishing out to conservative GOP politicians fopr DECADES.
Shut and stop crying already Jon. What a wuss!
A few of them manage to hide the anger during their careers for common sense financial reasons but after a while it shows. Think Cosby - a very angry man in spite of his great success and wealth. Or thinl of virtually any reasonably successful comedienne - Cho, Bernhardt, Poundstone - they are all angry queers.
He could possibly have a point, though I doubt it’s anywhere near as bad has he says .... or as extreme as the routine editing by The Daily Show editors of clips of President Bush, Sarah Palin and its other GOP and conservative targets.
Tell us again, John. How does it feel?
bullies don’t like being exposed.
It’s not a matter of right versus left. It is a matter of right versus wrong. Jon, you are WRONG!
Difference here being that Bill Cosby is angry at the blacks for selling themselves back into slavery.
If you don't recognize left-wing bias in the media including your own show then you are brainwashed.
LMAO!!! Whadda putz!
LOL! I watched that interview. Stewart is worried about how his demeanor appears? His content was quite revealing. Wallace did a great job painting Stewart into a corner about the liberal bias of the MSM and Stewart’s show.
Wallace played a clip of Stewart comparing a commercial of Palin’s bus tour to a herpes commercial. After playing a clip of Stewart making fun of Herman Cain’s comments about the length of bills being passed by Congress, Wallace asks Stewart if he’s auditioning for an Amos and Andy role. Cracked me up, because it was spot on.
Wallace owned Stewart. Stewart should be embarrassed about what he said, not whether he came across as ‘a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown’. Stewart is a liberal jerk, who hides behind his comedy schtick to paint conservatives in the most offensive light he can.
I watched it and couldn’t believe he said with a straight face that he didn’t think the liberal networks didn’t have an agenda.
Stewart has been living in an echo chamber so long that he was caught flat-footed by the truth.
Yeah. That about sums it up. Thanks Jon Lebowitz(?) for giving me another reason to not watch your show.
You schmuck. You Weiner holder, er, uh, supporter.
Don't fall for the image. Cosby is angry at White America and it shows all the time.
That's a sexist statement if ever I heard one. He isn't even half the man I am and I'm a woman.
“Thanks Jon Lebowitz”
He’s the late Fawn’s brother?
I think when I was in college we used to have sport with the girlfirends of guys like Stewart. No women want to be a nutless, sniveling little navel gazer like this guy. Ann Coulter exposed Jonathan Stuart Leibowitz in her new book, his whole act is a crafted persona. The wise azz metrosexual hipster who appeals to the millions of other men with penis envy. In fact most of the worlds great tyrannts had serious sexual dysfuntions and deep seated homosexual urges. Jon Stewart’s pathology comes fork his Jewish self hatred. This guy is walking Freudian archetype, I mean he named his kid “Nathan”. Talk about a flaccid, wimpy name to saddle a kid with.
He couldn’t stand to be Sarah Palin for 10 minutes.
Mr. Lebowitz—now you know how Sarah Palin felt after the Couric interview was aired.
What a .........(fill in the blank)!
John, Fox hired one of your editors. You may want to sue for theft of your intellectual property. I would love to read the complaint where it details what you think is proprietary about chopping up interviews to denigrate your interviewees.
I didn’t notice any change from the demeanor he shows on his own television show every night...
Fox News, and O'Reilly in particular, have made the sicko Stewart into more of a household name than he is worth.
The Bloviator has had him on his show constantly and consistently for the past year, building him up, lending him "gravitas".......and enabling this creepy guy to command more income these days than a two-bit comedian with a clever mouth could ever hope to rake in.
Last night, O'Reilly said he has Stewart on his show so much because he's a "fair liberal" and an "intelligent" guy.
Intelligent? The statements Stewart is putting out regarding his interview with Wallace are strangely garbled and make little sense at all when carefully parsed. Just words, words, words, devoid of content.....like Obama fools the folks with.
Defending Stewart who regularly delivers anti-capitalist, pro-Marxist, anti-conservative and anti-Tea Party routines on his "comedy" show speaks volumes about O'Reilly's intelligence as well as that of Stewart's who is incredibly blessed with the luxury of having most-favored guest status on BO'Rs high-rated show.
O'Reilly and Stewart are two of a kind with different styles. Stewart delivers his leftist propaganda with anger and sick humor.....while O'Reilly does his populist/statist/pro-Obama propaganda in guest repartee employing a controlling iron fist inside a smiley-leprechaun velvet glove.
Neither of these two show biz entertainers is a credit to the Republic for which we stand.
I didn’t quite see it that way, but the shoe seems to fit. Just anyone snot-nosed Lib.
‘they arrested me for saying an eleven letter word. They said this word was for a homosexual practice. Now that confused me, because when I think of that word - I don't think of a homosexual practice; I think of any hip contemporary chick I might know, or would WANT to know, or would love, or would marry.’ Lenny Bruce on being arrested in San Francisco for saying “c*cksuckers”.
What a pussy. If he is going to dish it out, he should fully be prepared to take it.
They own them, they just don’t cast a reflection....:-)
Yeah. How about some sympathy for the devil.
“...edited to appear like ‘a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown’.”
Such a sexist remark from a progressive liberal. What a whiner.
Somehow women on the verge of a nervous breakdown are worse than men? He sounds sexist to me.
Why did he go on Fox in the first place?
Didn’t Lefty Central put out the edict “No One Goes On Fox” a couple of years ago?
Doesn’t Jon Stewart have his own TV show? Did he get canceled? I don’t get it.
At least he is more of a woman that Rachel Madcow.....
Showing you as a gurly man requires no editing......
Exactly the thought that crossed my mind.
This is true...lol
