My impression has always been that Obama picked Huntsman as US Ambassador to the PRC, *specifically* to eliminate him as a possible competitor in 2012. That seems like a character reference, not a fault. Hmm...ok...I'll play.
But Huntsman ACCEPTED the position.

With his, i.e. Huntsman’s, statement I would say he doesn’t know what love for the USA means in history. He shouldn’t be allowed to so easily cast aside the cloak with which Obama Obama covered him.
