Secure Communities = Open Borders ICE has shifted its duties from Federal Immigration Law Enforcement to state and local criminal law enforcement.
ICE has no business in local criminal law enforcement. The ONLY time ICE has business in local law enforcement is WHEN they are informed because it involves illegal aliens.
With the implementation of the "Secure Communities" program ICE has effectively left the borders open by concentrating limited resources on areas outside its duties and as well ICE is effectively tying the hands of and preventing state and local law enforcement from enforcing immigration laws.
