Who better than Rick Perry to help us get through this awful mess that’s helping no one?

As a Christian, I respect Perry for wanting to improve both sides of the border and provide healthcare and education for our poorest citizens, even those here illegally, but as a Conservative, that's not where I want my tax dollars going.

I also would be concerned that any projects he pushed would be benefiting friends of his. And as a Christian, I still have problems with his supporting Rudy Giuliani during the 2008 presidential election, and I don't see me changing my mind on it. Abortion, gay marriage, gun control, those are some serious things. I'll admit that Perry does care about poor people and about illegal immigrants and their families and about improving the border, but you won't get me supporting him.
