Tony the Tiger, some NASCAR drivers and cookie-selling Girl Scouts will be out of a job unless grocery manufacturers agree to reinvent a vast array of their products to satisfy the Obama administration’s food police.
Either retool the recipes to contain certain levels of sugar, sodium and fats, or no more advertising and marketing to tots and teenagers, say several federal regulatory agencies.
The same goes for restaurants.
It’s not just the usual suspected foods that are being targeted, such a thin mint cookies sold by scouts or M&Ms and Snickers, which sponsor cars in the Sprint Cup, but pretty much everything on a restaurant menu.

I do not understand, given our 1st Amendment rights, how the government call tell Kellogg’s to whom they may advertise.
As for re-formulated cereals, I won’t buy Cinnamon Toast Crunch anymore. We used to get big ol’ boxes from Costs. The whole family liked them. Then they reformulated to increase the fiber and they are just no good.
I am a fan of brown rice and whole wheat bread and many other fiber rich foods, so I am not saying all food should be highly refined. But it ruined Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
Obama’s commissars are just getting oiled up for the reaming they’ll give the good ole USA if he gets another four years.
How about we all just ignore Obama til he is out of office? Pretend he doesn’t exist.

I just come from McD’s and was very frustrated trying to order some happy meals. My kids just want a damn burger and fries. No we don’t need apples or carrots. I really dislike this whole mess where I cant just order in a matter of seconds.
My kids get a happy meal once every 6 months. What is wrong with people regulating their own lives???
So the new equivalency is Snickers = tobacco, at least as regards advertising and sponsoring NASCAR teams. OK, I got it now — can you tell me where I can exit this insane ward?

The way I see it, Baraq got 53% of the vote last time as a ghost with a pumped up base of idiots.
