Michelle Obama on dating, exercise and keeping it real (BARF Alert)

"How do you get Barack to believe he's in charge?"

You had to forgive the cheeky question. The person asking it, popular radio personality Anele Mdoda, had been waiting in ridiculously high heels in one spot for over an hour for the world's favourite first lady to arrive for a photo opportunity, along with 74 other young African women chosen by their US embassies.

Michelle Obama, glowing with enthusiasm, immediately burst into laughter.

"A good man is happy with a strong woman," she said, before launching into a girly chat about the type of men we should let into our lives.

"That's why I fell in love with Barack. I met him way before he was president and he was just so comfortable with himself and he accepted me with all my ... stuff."

Angry black women I thought of all the unkind caricatures of Michelle Obama as an "angry black woman" on the campaign trail by those who didn't want to see her husband take the highest office in the US. I thought of the battles she must have fought to become an incredible career woman against formidable odds, long before the world knew her name. And then I looked at this beautiful, warm and charismatic person before me.

Suddenly, the hours of waiting and being herded about, subject to the paranoia of US security officials, all seemed worth it.

“’A good man is happy with a strong woman,’ she said.”

I’ve always thought Michelle wears the pants.

I think she meant to say 'junk'.

"A good man is happy with a strong woman"

This is how a lot of black families "keep it real". The mouthy idiot wife runs things.

What formidable odds did she face? She was a lawyer with a degree from Princton University and had the added benefit of being put at the head of the line due to the racist practices of Affirmative Action. This author knows nothing about the U.S. does she?

She probably did fall in love with Barack. A good llooking phony comes to her law firm, introduced by “good anti-Americans,” the Ayerses. This guy seemed interested in her (he needed her law license, a beard wife, and probably money). A match made in purgatory.

Only a gay man would find a scowling Amazon attractive enough to conceive Malia with. (not sure about the paternity of the little one.). Remember that moochelle was not nearly as pretty then as she “is now.”

Whew. I am so looking forward to the FREEPER take on this article. The question is loaded.
Is is cultural, political or sexual? O is certainly not in charge in the BR or the oval office. He is easily the most manilupatable president in our nation’s history. Is the reporter insinuating this is a black thing?

But Manchelle, you were a more acceptable choice as a political wife.

Your husband snubbed his real choice, Larry Sinclair.

The black community is so desperate to find a hero that they will accept anything. To them even a Princeton graduate had to fight desperate odds to be anything of merit. I’m sure Frederic Douglas is rolling in his grave.

Kids cannot pick their parents.

black families? I haven't seen one of those in ages.

All I ever see are bossy black women with a chip on their shoulder that no man would want to stay with raising a gaggle of kids by themselves.

This morning ABC news was reading letters from school children in South Africa. They were supposedly questions that they wanted to ask of Moochelle. I almost chocked on my coffee when one of the questions was read. It said Dear Michelle, you look to be in great shape. What do you eat to keep you that way? Yeah, that wasn't to fake a letter was it? Chapstick must be having a huge third quarter in sales from all the Butt kissing gong on.

Well, that's true. I'm a big stereotype guy, I love them, and I don't give a crap if it "offends" someone or not. For example, I'm Irish and we're drunks. I've been known to hit the bottle way too much.

But back to blacks and their social behavior, they seem to be one of the only groups that tolerate huge (obese) women. It's no big deal to them, it seems. And the women do tend to rule the roost.

Sorry. Didn’t mean to offend. The Obama kids are darling. I was looking at the pics of Sasha and it appears there isn’t much of daddy in her looks. I know that can be deceiving. At least she’s cute and doesn’t resemble Webb Hubbell.
