US minorities becoming the majority, census suggests.

Non-Hispanic white children now make up the minority of babies born in the US for the first time, according to latest census estimates, highlighting demographic changes that could reshape US government policy.

The findings offer a preview of final 2010 census results, released this summer, that provide detailed household breakdowns by age, race and relationship.

Demographers say the numbers provide the clearest indication yet that non-white minority groups will become the majority in the US by the middle of the century.

Alabama became the latest state this month to pass a wide-ranging anti-immigration law which requires schools to report their students' immigration status to the authorities. This follows tough immigration measures passed in similarly Republican-leaning states such as Georgia, Arizona and South Carolina.

Japan has survived a 20 year long Lost Decade, in part due to the homogeneity of the population and civic society.

On a purely economic view, I am planning for at least a 15 year Lost Decade in the United States. Asking simple questions like, ‘what civic society norms will maintain communities during the coming decade?’, can make for disturbing conclusions.

Of course, this was the Dems strategy all along: a quick ramp-up of the minority population via welfare and aiding illegal immigration while simultaneously demonizing the majority to garner votes enabled by the right amount of voter fraud thereby keeping Democrats in power.

It’s difficult to remain the majority race when you can’t afford your own children. Supporting others drains resources in many ways especially when they are home breeding while your at work.

Wonder what the numbers would be if the “Hispanic” category was removed?

For the life of my I don’t know why a ‘Marco Rubio’ is categorized differently than the Italian-American owner of a pizza shop who is counted as a caucasian.

Since discrimination against whites seems to be the cause du jour, how about this: no more birth control or abortions for whites.

Just look at your big cities when considering the minorities and decide how that’s working out for you. If they take over, where will these cities be and who is going to work? We already can’t hire qualified people in our factories. That is one reason, other than policy, companies are moving out of California. No educated people. Great future we have going here. One day, this country of ours will be prime for a take over.

Economically, we can see that we are in decline. There are huge amounts of "poor people" who "need help". We can either implement more Socialism, or we can pull back and say "personal responsibility is the only way out".

Politically, we can see that we are in decline. The percentage of people who do not pay taxes, and who do not do productive work is steadily increasing. These people vote. These are the people who will make the decision: More Socialism? Or less Socialism?

Which is to say that we have a pretty hopeless situation here. Neither economic processes nor electoral processes will solve the problems. We will have war in this country soon. A house divided against itself cannot stand, and we are about to fall.

demographic changes that could reshape US government policy

Why would demographics reshape US government policy ?

Our politicians actually change US policy based on skin color of voters ??. Really ??

Then the article jumps to saying the new laws in certain states are "anti-immigration".

What laws are "anti-immigration" ?. I read they are anti-tresspassing laws !

What does immigration have to do, directly, with "demographics" ? You mean most "immigration" to the US isn't from Northern Europe and Canada ?

And I thought media bias was only here in the US !

.

You have got that right. If the DNC cannot see a clear victory next November, I’m sure Soros will crash this economy to suspend the election.

That would finally be what it takes to bring out the liberty tree watering services.

and when Hispanics take on Blacks for the title of “Majority most entitled to minority preferential treatment”, the Democrats will be toast.

We’re paying people who don’t like us and hate American culture to come here and live.

What do you expect?

Maybe Hispanic whites should be considered whites? And Hispanic blacks should be black?
