Gingrich: ‘Strategic Blunder’ for Palin to Mock Obama as ‘Community Organizer’
American Spectator ^ | June 23, 2011 | R.S. McCain

Republicans, including Sarah Palin and Rudy Giuliani, made a "strategic blunder" by making a joke of Barack Obama's work as a community organizer, Newt Gingrich says in a new book about the radical ACORN group.

It was "not helpful" for Palin and Giuliani to mock community organizing in their speeches at the 2008 Republican National Convention, Gingrich tells investigative reporter Matthew Vadum in his new book, Subversion Inc. The GOP's mockery "trivialized Obama and Obama is not a trivial person," Gingrich said in an exclusive interview with Vadum featured in the book:

Hey, America should have known a community organizer couldn’t help the economy much less a free nation.

Where was Newt in explaining the five principles of [radical organizer Saul] Alinsky in 2008?

So, it’s never a good idea to speak the truth about a terrible man. That’s not good logic. That’s a recipe for tyranny.

Sarah Palin isn't a trivial person either Newt, but the left has incessantly tried to trivialize her, and worse. You are wrong Newt. The right didn't go after Obama enough, and should attack his record, credibility, and radicalism as often as possible.

Just because Obama is surrounded by Machiavellian ideologues with a divide and conquer race baiting class warfare driven agenda doesn't mean that he isn't an overblown community organizer.

If you love this country Newt, stop letting your narcissism drive what you do, and actually fight for the nation. Pick an issue, like perhaps Term Limits, and use the clout you have left to become the champion of that issue. You could do more good in that context than letting your ego push you to run for the presidency.

Dede Scozafafa was a strategic blunder. Sitting on a sofa with Pelosi was a strategic blunder. Going on cruises while your campaign team quits is a strategic blunder.

Wondering along with the rest of normal America just what the heck a ‘Community Organizer’ does? Not so much.

1) He is trying to get noticed (a la Trump)
2) He is paving his future way on the liberal lecture circuit

I do not agree it was a blunder to call the community organizer in chief a community organizer. I think more ridicule should have been used on the patently unqualified Obama. I guess sitting on a couch with Pelosi and filming a commercial supporting AGW was not a strategic blunder, right Newt?

Newt’s only relevance is his “helpfulness” to the MSM.

Wrong.
Somebody needs to have the guts to expose ALL about the Muslim usurper.
Years of membership in Wright’s America/Jew/white hating ‘church’, former membership in a socialist party, raising and mentoring by radicals, Muslims and Communists,
campaigning on the American taxpayer’s dollar for the murderous muzzie/Communist Odings, violation of the Logan Act..ad naseum

Figures. Newt fails to recognize that Palin and Giuliani were correct while he's advocating the very policy that failed republicans in 2008. Newt wants republicans to bring a knife to a machine gun fight. The dems need to be KO’d on their own level.
