There a recipe for that load or he's just doing same as the BOZ ??
I reload my own in .224 Boz for the CZ52. MUCH cheaper !!
Whats the difference ?!?!? I'm using same sabot's, pulled green tip 5.56 steel core and once fired brass.... haven't chronograph my loads but they do punch what I want to punch through. Stay safe !! Send Money for Timb's ammo !....:o) Got to go study the difference now.
I don't know exactly what he's using. I tried some of his in my broomie a few years back and got less recoil and less flash at night, so he's doing something right.
Due to legalities and predatory prosecutors in the Memphis area, it was prudent to practice with handloads and use factory fodder for business, and so I did. But I am no longer in that region, and even then I had such novelties as .30 carbine tracers loaded in 7.62x25 cases as spares. My Mauswer held 20 rounds, after all, and being such a notoriously poor shot, I figured that having at least two reloads worth on board was a good idea. Hollowpoints, tracers, AP; decisions, decisions decisions....

You might want to pick up a set of RCBS forming dies to make 7,62x25 brass out of 5,56mm GI brass. Not cheap, but they pay for themselves. And try the Hornady 90-grain XTP bullets made for the H&R .32 magnum in the 7.62x25 cases. Mi
I figure if I was still using the broomie as my Sunday-go-to-meetin' shooter, I'd use the commercial Timbs ammo in it...and load some of the sabot stuff in 7,62X39 cases for real penetration. Though I have doubts about serious accuracy with the sabots from a 1:10 twist barrel- something a bit faster is likely required.
