ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - Gay marriage will become legal in New York state after the Republican-led state Senate voted to approve it. Advocates are calling it a historic step as New York stands to become the sixth but by far the largest state to legalize same-sex marriage.
Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo lobbied hard for the bill and has promised to sign it.
The Senate vote is viewed as a major gain in an effort to allow gay marriage nationally.

I am having a “discussion” with some homosexuals on Facebook. They are too happy. I posted a study about homosexuality and depression/suicide. That seemed to upset them. I no longer care if I am called names. I will not bow down to this PC crap. Homosexuality is morally and spiritually wrong and trying to teach children it is normal is child abuse!

I think there's several scriptures which speaks about 'depraved men' calling darkness light as this senator did. He would do well to read it....the end result for doing so is not pretty.

“While I understand that my vote will disappoint many, I also know my vote is a vote of conscience,” Saland said in a statement to The Associated Press before the vote. “I am doing the right thing in voting to support marriage equality.”

GOP Senator Mark Grisanti, a GOP freshman from Buffalo, also said he would vote for the bill.

This “law” has nothing to do with “legalizing” homosexual marriage. It’s about forcing State residents and those doing business in NY to fully support homosexual behavior.

Like I said, I don’t want to make this a religious debate. However, I’d encourage everyone to look into postmillenialism (the Evangelical variety, not the bogus liberal variety). There are many different proposed interpretations of Bible prophecy, and I have found preterist postmillenialism to be the most consistent.

As I was pondering the fact that this happened in a Republican controlled body, with the votes of Republicans, I remember that the Grand Old Party was founded for the purpose of combating what they called the “twin relics of barbarism,” polygamy and slavery.
