Texans can take the heat.

Enjoy...

Got a clear blue sky, about 76 degrees, with a mild on-shore Pacific breeze... Somehow, I'll tough it out here.

Best of luck!

Good for you. If I wanted to live there I could live there too but there are too many JERKS there now. I’d rather live around nice people than in a great climate around someone so rude. It was uncalled for when I was just saying that different people look for different attributes when they decide where to live. Don’t bother explaining what the climate is like in California after I wrote that I lived there in all parts of the state for many years. The SOCIAL climate in California sucks. SYWFT.

Beginning next year, Gov. Brown will be taxing that breeze.

The year round weather here alone is worth a *fortune* to us...Ya it cost a bit more, but well worth it for us!

Cheers!

The weather’s nice in Zimbabwe, too.

Right now, dreg, I'm stuck by the sunny pool with an icy beverage marveling at my acreage, low taxes, low crime rate, and civilized neighbors. But hey, have fun out there in the sunshine with Barbara Boxer, Jerry Brown, Mark Leno, and the rest of your people. ...To each his own, I guess.

We are taking the jump. Born and raised in CA. We have lived in Southern Cal, Central Cal and now Northern Cal...i’m 45 and a business owner. As much as I will miss our current community, friends and our family...it’s doesn’t make economical sense to stay any longer. We are conservative and don’t like the liberl loons who are destroying our state. Yes we have nice weather...but how much time do we really spend outside. And with housing so much more affordable there, we can buy a home with a pool...so if it’s hot..we shall swim :) The schools are rated high in the area’s we are looking to move and a conservative attitude prevails! We like the idea of keeping over 20$ we pay in State income tax in CA, not to mention cheaper everything...32% cheaper to live in TX. We want to enjoy our life...not give our hard earned money to a bozo state. Things are going to get really bad here in CA, really bad. Housing prices will continue to go down as more business’ leave and the middle class...I hope they change coarse...so in my old age I can see California back in her glory!!!

Welcome.

I’ve traveled (and lived) all over the United States (and traveled abroad) and I will tell you now, Texans will win your heart.

As you’ll often see stuck on TX car bumpers,

“I wasn’t born in TX but I got here as fast as I could.”

Have a good landing.
