The first thing that came to mind was: What will be different about married women DECLARING a sex moratorium when the
de facto moratorium is the rule?
Withholding something not presently available anyway is not much leverage in a negotiation.
Maybe the fight is over the mirage of HOPE for sex at some unspecified future date.

That presumes that sex outside of marriage is the norm. I would suspect that a return to premarital virginity would improve the frequency and enjoyment of sex for both spouses.
