"Jean Weber of Destin filed a complaint with the Department of Homeland Security after her 95-year-old mother was detained and extensively searched last Saturday while trying to board a plane to fly to Michigan to be with family members during the final stages of her battle with leukemia.
Her mother, who was in a wheelchair, was asked to remove an adult diaper in order to complete a pat-down search."

This is outrageous. You should see how Somali immigrants go through security at the Minneapolis-St. Paul airport - all wrapped up from head to toe and completely unhassled. Meanwhile, I just about have to strip down to my skivvies. I’m thinking we should all just try to drive or make other arrangements. Let the airlines feel the heat and provide the security their damn selves.

This is total crap . . . 95 YO lady being treated like that, while DHS looks the other way when many ragheads board flights so as to accommodate “political correctness.
Perhaps we need to start a letter writing campaign to our U.S. Congressmen and U.S. Senators and DEMAND that this kind of B * * * S * * T becomes a cease and desist order at TSA.

I just encountered the new TSA ‘system’ for the first time when I took a flight a few weeks ago. I vowed then and there that this would be my last flight. No way in hell am I going through that crap again.
It’s actually a jaw-dropping disgrace that any American put up with this. I keep thinking back to my grandfather and his generation, and how he wouldn’t have put up with such insanity for a single solitary second. Old women and toddlers being groped. All because common-sense ‘profiling’ is treated as some grand moral transgression. This country is so pathetic now, it’s beyond words.
This country is out of control. These TSA types are morons. I can see why they are demanding union job protection.
911, I’d like to report a case of elder abuse...
That’s really going to make the flight safer. I don’t know how Americans put up with the stupidity that goes on in this country.
