He has always sounded strange. It's the toll one pays for heavy drug use. Ask Ozzy.
His comment is a demonstration of how split our country is. With the demise of the local newspaper on the doorstep, a source that everyone in the community read in addition to whatever they chose to read, people today ready only the point of view they already believe in and are oblivious even to the existence of other news sources. For instance we live on FR, but the liberals I know have never even heard of it.

I haven’t heard that much about him. Did he do something that makes him lower than the others?
I would far prefer to pick and choose amongst various choices of information, than to have what I am supposed to accept as fact spoon-fed to me by the likes of Walter Cronkite, Dan Rather and Katie Couric.
And it will be better for us as a country. If we had begun this process in 1945, we would be in better shape now.
