Tonight, around 11 p.m., a group of at least 60-70 African American youth marched down one of the side streets (W. Thrush) to the 4 lane main drag (Sheridan). They were yelling threats to white residents. Things such as we need to kill alll the white people around here.

Visualize Election Day 2012 with roving bands intimidating any white person daring to go near any election site. Obama and the Chicago mob are not likely to want to go quietly.

I grew up in Peoria, IL. Left in 1964.
This is actually in or near Pekin, IL. When I was there, nearly 50 years ago, Pekin was lily-white and teeny-tiny. I believe it was about 10 miles or so from Peoria, itself. From Google maps, it looks as though all the former farmland between Peoria and Pekin has been developed into malls and retail. Maybe someone can chime in to describe the area as it is at present?
Haven’t been back except for a nostalgic detour in the mid-90s. The entire place was so changed, so built up, I didn’t recognize much.

Though we know that most of his Democrat buds LOVE HIM and are enjoying watching him drag America over to the drain, some of you still wonder why the Pubbies don’t act. We are now hearing from fairly reliable sources in DC that the spineless jackals on the Hill are afraid to move against Obozo for fear his supporters will initiate violence against those who oppose him DESPITE the mounting evidence that he is a complete liar, usurper and fraud.
That’s been my analysis of this mess all along.
For several decades, the “values” of a crime-prone sub-culture have been invading what has loosely been termed traditional and formerly widely accepted European/American values. It started with suburban kids who can be seen everywhere carrying an MP3 player as foul language laced, misogynistic and violent hip-hip or gangsta rap overloads their headphones and their soon to be useless eardrums as they struggle to walk with their pants around their ankles. (Bill Cosby and others have been called “Oreo cookies” and “Uncle Toms” for even commenting on the growing madness).
Or they stop near us in traffic with 2 million watts of the same trash blasting from the thirty two 24” speakers filling the back seat of their “ride” while we watch their windows flex under the pressure waves and clench our teeth in hopes our crowns will not vibrate loose. That’s the bad news. The good news is that most of them will soon be deaf.
It appears this same sub-culture is now in control of the entire country through the expressed or implied threat of violence against those who still believe in the rule of law and that those who violate those laws ought to pay for their crimes, regardless of race, creed, national origin or STATION IN LIFE.
If and when the denizens of that hill in the former mosquito-infested swamp now known as Washington D.C. locate their spines (many, having been born without them, will require surgical implantation) and actually enforce the laws from the Constitution on down and the violence begins, I say “Bring it on.” Can you say “Target-rich environment?”
If the lawless, violent sub-culture is permitted to carry the day, America is finished and no one will be safe anywhere.

I looked up Peoria, Illinois on wikipedia to get an idea of the racial make-up. Blacks are listed as 24.79% of the population, but that number comes from the year 2000 census. A lot can happen in ten years.
I wonder how they would have responded to residents who went on their porches carrying shotguns?
