Some people think that conservative behavior is subjecting your life to the whims of collectivists, neo-confederates, and assorted other reprobates. The only way such people have power over me is if give their claim to power my sanction. Such people have an inverted morality.

Every lesbian I have ever known has claimed to have been raped. No exceptions in my small sample set.
It may be they were not. It may be that they were. It may be that after rape, some women carry a buried grudge. It may be that they could recover from it with the right kind of therapy.
I do know they get my pity before they get my condemnation.
I understand the need for a contract between partners so that the state recognizes their rights when it comes to children and estate. However marriage is still one woman,one man. Even the President is careful not to mess with that one
If you’re brave, go the “The Root” website. It’s a black commentary blog run by the WaPo. Hardly a bastion of conservatives. The lead writers are all gaga about gay marriage, but the average black comments are overwhelmingly negative. They find it insulting to compare homosexuality to being black. There’s one white liberal who tries to steer the black community back into thinking “correctly”. But it ain’t workin’. And it’s really pissing off more people, having “white people” telling blacks how they are expected to think.
You can’t tell these know-it-alls ANYTHING.
That’s what depresses me.
We can no longer afford our government. But if you try explaining that to them, they call you a racist, tell you Reagan deficit spent, demand tax hikes, etc.
There are too many people in the country like your friends son. The nation is going to crack apart, but they don’t care as long as they’re getting theirs.
