Sarah Palin's camp is reaching out to activists and operatives in Iowa about setting up meetings while she's in the state Tuesday for the screening of a documentary about her - including with Chuck Laudner, a former Iowa GOP executive director and prominent conservative.

Laudner confirmed to POLITICO he'd gotten a call from Palin's advisers either Friday or over the weekend asking about meeting with him while she's in Pella for the screening of "The Undefeated."

I’d like to hear some legitimate “on the ground” in Iowa commentary.

Here is some on the ground commentary.

Iowa has less that 3 million people, the fact that so much time is spent in this lightly populated state is testimony to the idiocy of politics.

It has always amused me that the media and the candidates spend so much time and money on Iowa and New Hampshire, two nothing states that signify nothing.

This should get some negative reaction from both FR members from these two overblown states.

“Clearly not a candidate, right?”

I’m not convinced one way or the other at this point, but you did see post #23, right? The person “reaching out” to activists is NOT a Palin aide. He’s a volunteer that has been trying to organize things in Iowa, but he has no affiliation with Palin or her people.

Yeah that can be a real burr in the saddle to the rest of the country.
Everything has a reason. The idea in a smaller state is that candidates can connect with many people without the filter of the media; very good thing in my opinion. Iowa is just as representative of the country as anywhere else; good and bad.

Palin is not going to jump just because the media told her to jump or rather told her not to jump as dare, she is a patriot. But I can’t just see with her highly competitive nature of her just sitting on the sidelines, she already last year laid out an plan on how to defeat Obama in 2012 to the National Review, so unless someone else comes along and copy her plans, she’s in it to win it.

...you might be afflicted with the mental disorder where people actually believe Pollutico is worth reading.

I don't believe a word out of Politico. That is my problem with this. Someone posted after me Real Clear Politics tweets that fully discredit this much like I had suspicions that it was phony. Remember the "Sarah is a Diva" story Jonathan Martin wrote that Rush, Levin and Hannity proved as a lie last year? They also wrote a Bachmann piece made from whole cloth this spring to slam her.

Politico is first and foremost a tool of the Regime. Proper warning should have been given instead of celebrating anything these Commie Pinkos float out as real news.

Just say the word, Sarah!

America, Resistance is futile!
Prepare to be liberated!

You can partially thank the arrogant RINO elites who run the GOP. If conservatives ran the GOP, Super Tuesday would be ahead of the corrosive IOWA garbage caucuses and the New Hampshire RINOfest. The two states would be completely irrelevant -- rightly so.

In absolute terms, she must be in by Nov 2011. Some speculate she wouldn't announced before July 27th which is after critics can file any other complaints related to her gubernatorial term.

In practical terms, even she'll need time to raise funds and if she's not in before the September debate at the Reagan library she shouldn't bother.

Yep. You were right about “pollutico”.

I didn’t think even they could screw up something so simple, but I was wrong.

I am sure a apology, clarification or full retraction is forthcoming from these fine people. They will want to maintain their obvious high journalistic standards after all.

We had nasty spring weather that day.
We had wind, rain and snow.

As you know, Sarah went directly to the belly of the beast, Madison. During the time that the Moonbats were really riled up.

You also know, she is fearless.

She laughs in the face of evil.

Our happy warrior in the fight to save America.

God Bless Sarah!
