I am a student of history and an observer of the present. Of course the Founders were human. But no one today can hold a candle to any of them. No one. One proof is in the product of their labor: the Founders and their generation started a nation and began something good and great. The most recent couple of generations of their descendents have seemed dead-set on ruining it.

I agree with your comments, and your concerns.

The key...

We simply cannot place a person in the White House from our side, who doesn’t grasp what the Left have been up to, and the need to reverse it. And they absolutely must have the faculties, the policies, and the drive to reverse it moving us significantly back to the right.

This simply cannot be another tread the waters administration.

Guess it's time to cut off his head and send him to jail.

That's how the new Moslem overlords are going to have it done in UK.

Liberalism has poisoned the well of public discourse. Dark forces bent on our nation’s destruction have forced their way onto the main streets and into the classrooms of our communities. They demand that we accept their lies and deceptions as worthy of consideration. They insist that nothing should be out of bounds to a truly free people. They deny virtue and reject truth. They are the demons among us who seek the destruction of all we hold sacred.

I have long had a rough idea that certain times and places have produced flares of brilliance. Instances where often small numbers of people somehow interacted with their surroundings and produced earth shattering advances.

Some examples would be 4th and 5th century B.C. Athens. 18th Century Scotland and the U.S. about the same time.

Others I am not so familiar with might be the Renaissance in Italy, or maybe Rome around the time of Christ.

Whatever the reason, Colonial America produced a tremendous number of brilliant men, especially considering the population. Actually ancient Athens only had around 100,000 population.

Absolutely. We need a pit bull. No fear, no allegiances to the GOP old boy network and no alliances to the Saudis, Soros, the media, eco naziz or the UN and most importantly, again, ‘no fear’ of the above. From what I can see so far there’s one person that fits all those criteria on the national stage, but I am very open to anyone who will do the job.

I personally think we’re headed for the road warrior scenario thanks to the libs regardless as the damage is so immense, but we have at best, one more chance in 2012 if we can survive as a country until then. If we don’t clean house, utterly and with prejudice, we’re done.

Wiki said "Schama is a supporter of the Labour Party, donating £2,000 to Oona King's bid to become Labour's candidate for the 2012 London Mayoral election."

He did go to work for Harvard in 1980 so he actually had time to become a citizen (presuming he qualified for immigration), but I found nothing that said he was an American citizen.

I suspect he's not a citizen, although his wife and kids probably are. Such matters are beneath his interest I am sure.

Note, his parents were not English types, so if my ancestors had shot even more Englishmen in the Revolution it'd had no effect on the probability of him being in this timeline.

Still, it was a pleasant thought while it lasted.

But, thanks to those of adroit stroke we now know he may be committing election fraud.

I like my art history majors imprisoned as frequently as it may be necessary to get them turned around and doing it right.

It is both Newsweak AND a Columbia prof. Columbia is about as looney Left as it gets. For one example, they gave Michael Bellesiles the Bancroft Award for his made-up history of firearms in the early U.S.A., and stuck with him long after his book was easily proven to be a work of fiction. Emory fired him long before Columbia came to their senses and rescinded the award.

Heck, Obama is a grad, that ought to tell us something as well.

Thumbs up for the “with prejudice” notion. Pack their sorry rear ends off to the Utopia du jour where they can whine about how unfair the right wing in America is and what they can do to make their new digs even more Utopian. Declare them personna non grata and place a shoot to kill notice in every port of entry.

Too harsh? Would you allow cancer to stay in your body? Do you not cut it out? Do you not then take every precaution to make sure it doesn't return? These people are a cancer. They are feeding off of us, consuming us as we try to live our lives. They hide behind the Constitution they hate with a passion and work to destroy. They will do it to us and not flinch. They discussed the need for 20 or 30 million to be killed during the 60s; the Weather Underground with Ayers and Dorn.

Hell no it ain’t too harsh. This is a serious threat to the country they are making. They should lose their rights as any treasonous person would.

I had said on another thread I recently argued with a fellow freeper that believes the Constitution is in fact a suicide pact. America has to shake off the pussified attitude that leftists are harmless and entitled to their ‘rights’.

There is no right to turn a Republic into a Marxist hellhole. Quite the contrary in fact.

I tried to find a Communist goal that hasn’t been acheived in one form or another. The FBI is still around, though. It’s funny how it says “gain control of MORE unions”. So they obviously controlled most of them then.

"Columbia University professor..."

Stopped reading there; was reminded of the noted Obi-Wan Kenobe line: "You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villany."
