W was really our first Hispanic president—and he never won their vote. The simple truth is that most Hispanics in this country bring their left-leaning sentiments from their homelands, get favored with affirmative action and government benefits at a level beyond how they could have lived at home, and they’re not about to turn majority Republican because we have a Cuban-American on our ticket.

Agree with you completely ! Rubio is the most Reganesque man we have known. Marco 2010 stickers will remain on our cars until there is another with his name to replace them.

Great idea, but it will not happen. Marco Rubio has work to do in the Senate, and he will not pull an Obammy and simply use his seat as a jumping board for a run at the Presidency, or even the Vice Presidency.

I like Marco Rubio right where he is; I feel the same way about Paul Ryan...both of them are in the first wave of a badly needed Congress cleaning, and I look forward to the day when Marco is a Senior Senator because so many of the usual suspect have finally retired and cleared the way for guys like Marco to take over the Chairmanship of the major Senatorial Committees and start getting the real work done.

Rather than pull either one from the jobs they have just begun, people would do better to find additional new Conservative candidates to elect to Congress in 2012 and send Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan and others more reinforcements.

Rubio is de facto eligible. We no longer live in a country that adheres to a strict constructionist interpretation of the Constitution. The Leftists will not want to touch this issue because of obvious reasons with their own impostor in chief.

Why focus on Rubio? Rick Santorum is already running, and I haven’t heard a single person question his eligibility.

And why not? Because a candidate’s parents’ citizenship is irrelevant. Nobody cares about Santorum’s dad’s citizenship because it doesn’t matter Constitutionally. Same reason nobody ever speculated about Nancy Pelosi’s eligibility on the Democratic side.

Rawle is wrong. Rubio and Jindal are both native born only. Not eligible.

Marco Rubio was born in Miami, FL; Bobby Jindal was born in Baton Rouge, LA. The issue is closed.

In your dreams!

The candidate has to be natural born but the parents only have to be native born. If not, their dual citizenship could be passed to the kid, creating foreign allegiances.
