I don't think the Bamster will want a second term. His ego is to fragile to handle it.
Conservatives should be running against "Democrat policies." Forget running against Obama. We shouldn't even be calling it "Obamacare." It isn't and he doesn't. He didn't write or pass that legislation.

This is the perfect opportunity to run another empty suit.

Sarah has no place to go but up. If they didnt find any dirt in the 24,000 emails, there is none to be had. Combing through Sarah's emails was the MSM's last chance to get her on something, and they came up empty-handed (again).
From this point forward, they're going to have one helluva time trying to shoot her down. They've already shot their best ammo at her, and none of it so much as dented her armor.
Frankly, the lady is clean as a whistle, and the MSM has done nothing but raise her stature by attacking her, while simultaneously lowering their own credibility in the eyes of the public.
As you said, she's got nowhere to go, but up.

This poll may
overstate Obama'a strength. Real candidates tend to do better than generics and undecided voters generally break in favor of challengers against incumbents.
So if the election were held now, chances are strong that Obama loses by a significant margin. But one caveat: there's still a long long way to go.

A generic Republican candidate now holds a four-point lead over President Obama in a hypothetical 2012 election matchup. It's the fifth week in a row that the GOP candidate has been ahead and the widest gap between the candidates to date. If they're polling Pawlenty they should at least use his name :)

This Admin. not breaking a sweat, yet. They can easily make up the 4% with double/triple voting, dead people, felons, illegals, union and Black Panther intimidation, and "found" boxes of ballots needed to "make the voting right" for them in close elections.

But in recent days, a poll showed Obama would carry Alaska if Sarah Palin were the Republican nominee.
And today, a poll in Texas shows Obama would carry Texas against Rick Perry.
How can the national poll have Obama behind a generic Republican, when he beats solid red state Republican governors on their home turf???? Can all these polls really be accurate?????????
To: Dilbert San Diego
IMO, these numbers will get worse as the year comes to a close. His own party will bury him with whatever scandal they need to do it with and Hillary will be the nominee. Write it down!

And national polls are pretty useless.
The only states that matter this time are Florida, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin and Colorado.

Can all these polls really be accurate?????????The Palin and Perry polls are absurd on their faces. The Perry poll was conducted by a Democrat outfit; it seems rather too-obviously designed to convince Perry not to run. The Palin poll was commissioned by the Anchorage Daily News; their numbers are equally absurd.
Hard to say if the Rasmussen poll here is correct (although it seems plausible), but the others are just silly.

21% that self identify as liberals + 13% for racist blacks = 34%. That is his base number he will never go below, so that means he has lost all but 8% of everyone else at this point.I'll probably get hit for this but here goes: If I was black I would first get down on the ground and kiss the earth and Thank God that I was born in the USA. The second thing I would do is work like hell, educate my kids and vote conservative/republican so my kids will experience liberty and hopefully a private sector job when they grow up!

Lets face it, if the media reported all the negative there is to report about Obama this guy would be lucky to be at 10%.Isn't that the truth! I follow fellow FReeper Beckwith's The Obama Files and it's absolutely amazing all the negative data on Obama that never gets reported. I also like Trevor Loudon's New Zeal blog. Tons of information at both sites.

Totally respect and agree with Sarah but nominating her is handing the atheist/communist a 2nd term. Her negatives are sky high in all the swing states and will not be overcome, period. Perry will get the job done.

You really have to stop reading (and believing) the left-wing, state-run media polls. They're all fabrications, intended to destroy support for Sarah Palin, the best possible conservative candidate we've seen in a generation.
I'm afraid that Rick Perry can't even begin to hold a candle to the stuff that Sarah Palin is made of. Read some of the informative posts upthread, and realize that he's not the one we're looking for. Not by a long shot.
