LOL! Next time you get ready to shoot, let me know, I’ll duck! :o)
I usually head the other way when I hear or see a Buildaburger fear bot, but will wade in long enough to say that Perry was invited to speak on “States Rights and Federalism”. Not the worst reason for attending one of those think tank clubs, if one must.
Thanks.
I can also think of a dozen million reasons, every two years, why she will not run.
Sarah Palin income 12 million dollars since leaving office
Sarah Palin has carved out a very comfortable and very lucrative niche for herself in the entertainment, speaking and book business and she absolutely loves it.
Sarah Palins Alaska Trailer: "Id rather be doing this than be in some stuffy old political office."
Sarah Palin, unlike her rabid fans, understands that she is unelectable. She also understands that teasing about the possibility of running for President, like Donald Trump did, "enhances you brand" and therefore your income.
For the good of America and for the good of her ever increasing net worth, Sarah Palin will stay in her current role as a speaker and entertainer and will, I predict, endorse Governor Perry for President.
See Post 8.
I love Sarah, too. I’m just not sure where to throw my money, limited as it is, at this point. She ain’t even in yet.
I’ll take Rick, but I am way more than good with Palin. That gal is right on, true, and (can I say it?) HAWT.
You can mix sweet and bitter, we call that Dogfish 60 down here ;)
It showed especially when Perry was state chair of the Al Gore campaign.
You’re joking.
FRiend, she’s running.
Either way, yer idea is solid. I just don’t want another lamebrain.
I hated the idea of a McLame ticket until he took her on back in 2008. I was all in after that. I lurve her ideas and her attitude. Any ticket with Sarah on it will get my support.
I think this troll went back under the bridge.
Well that sounds good but Perry is not doing too much for that TSA anti groping issue in the Texas legislature right now. Texans are not too happy with him.
And yet for all that supposed acrimony, he still looks like GWB II with his Open-Borders statements to Mexican Politicians and his position against AZ1070.
Also, for all of his supposed support for limited government, in many ways, the big government crap he has tried to foist on Texans would seem to drown out his words is you really take a look at his record.
Yup, GWB II
Is that you, Linus?
Is that you, Barack?
Meanwhile, back in the Real World, this is the reality of Sarah Palin.
FOX News Poll (February 7-9, 2011)
Question 3: I am going to read you a list of names. Tell me if you think that person would make a good President or not.
Sarah Palin:
.................YES.........NO.......DK.....Never heard of
ALL...........23%.......72%.........4%.......1%
Dem ...........7%........87%........5%.......1%
Rep ...........40%.......56%.......3%.......1%
Ind ...........25%........69%.......3%.......1%
I read that died in the Texas House today. I hear folks say Perry should have rammed it through, and then I hear folks say that Texas governor is a weak position and that the real power is the Lt. Gov. and House Speaker. So I gotta wonder, who is really to blame?
He’s a troll, just signed up today, I think we scared him off.
So you’re voting “based on God’s Word.”
God’s Word says that Jehovah is all-powerful and that he puts into power whomever he wants. It also tells us to be respectful and prayerful for those in power.
The bitter pill is that God has often, throughout history, used flawed and sinful men to accomplish His purpose. I don’t pretend to know what He’s using Barry0 for, but I’m afraid that in 2008 He may have just given us what we deserve.
Sorry, but if you think that you have to find a perfect candidate to be in line with God’s Word, maybe you better read it again. Better to pray, like the penitent Israelites did in the days of the Judges, for God to raise someone up to lead us out of this mess.
Then accept that that someone may be flawed — like Samson, or Gideon, or any other of the judges or kings. Our God is big enough to work through sinful men.
BTW: They despised Reagan as much as they do Palin. Bushes should stay out of politics and be philanthropists.
I think the threats from Homeland Security scared them all off. Too bad.
