Judge denies Boeing motion to dismiss NLRB case
The Hill ^ | 6/30/2011 | Keith Laing

A judge dismissed airplane manufacturer Boeing's attempt to have a National Labor Relations Board case against it dismissed Thursday.

The NLRB has alleged Boeing chose to locate a new plant to build 787 airplanes in South Carolina instead of Washington state in retaliation for strikes by unionized workers there. Boeing sought to have the case dismissed on the grounds that the NLRB's claim was unprecedented, but Seattle Administrative Law Judge Clifford Anderson ruled that the case should go on.

"Having considered the entirety of the respondent's motion and found and concluded as noted above, I find that the motion is without merit and should be denied in its entirety," Anderson wrote in a 19 page ruling.

This is the primer on how to drive business away.

Boeing gets the award of the year for being the number one fool of the century for moving their corporate offices to Chicago instead of a right to work state....like Texas. Secondly their engineers designed the 727 an airplane that was a POS to land in ground effect and thirdly they let this proceed in that socialist shithole state of Washington....Fools All....

They could issue airworthiness directives every week for decades to punish Boeing.

And these communists would.

Boeing should GO GALT!

Really? What if you have a significant portion of your investment portfolio in Boeing (BA) stock? Lets say that you are a money manager for a retirement fund and all of a sudden your investment in BA "Goes Galt"?

The corporate officers would instantly find themselves deep in investor lawsuits.

I just read those words for the first time a week ago, almost finished with the novel. What an interesting time to be reading Atlas Shrugged, read the novel at night and watch it happen during the day.

I’d like to see Boeing shut down and report that they will not manufacture anything until Obama and the democrats are out of power.

I know they wouldn’t do that because it would cost billions.... LOL, but I’d love it.

Can anyone tell me Why has the Republican-controlled House of Representatives, where fiscal legislation originates, and where budgets and appropriations are passed, continued to fund Anti-American institutions like the NLRB?

I thought this had already been beaten back. Did I miss something? The suit was dismissed by a court last week or so.

I’m rereading “Atlas Shrugged” for the first time since the Pelosi-Reid-Obama crisis hit America, and I’m appalled at the parallels between the America of that novel and what Obama has turned America into today. The idea that a thug in DC could even bring a court action against Boeing over opening a new factory in the “wrong” state is disgusting. The far left is simply evil, and their actions are inexcusable.

The parallels, not just in big government intrusion but also the decline of science, of journalism, and of education amaze me. Ayn Rand nailed it - pray for America.

I must admit this ruling surprised me. Perhaps the court will provide a reasonable ruling.
