Glenn Beck: I Hate Republicans, Too
Newsmax ^ | June 29, 2011 | Newsmax

Glenn Beck is making it clear that he’s no partisan — he hates Republicans as much as he does Democrats, if not more.

In a tease for his new Web TV venture, GBTV, Beck said he dislikes members of the GOP immensely, according to Politico.

“I hate them. I think they are as much of a problem as the other side," Beck says in a new interview released just before his last show on Fox News.

In one video preview, Beck asks himself and Raj Nair, GBTV’s head correspondent, about what the average person thinks of his political leanings, and Nair agrees that the perception is that he is a Republican.

Not so, says Beck.

“I hate them. I think they are as much of a problem as the other side,” Beck says, walking alongside Nair on the streets of New York. He then invokes George Washington, saying Washington warned of the danger in political parties.

“If you speak out in today’s world, you’re either a Republican or Democrat. How about just being real?” he later says.

Glenn forgot to say the most important word...........

Progressive!

Far too many people in the republican party are progressives. He’ll will gladly chum up with conservatives in the GOP. Call in and start talking about Jason Chaffetz, and get ready for a gush fest...............

Or Jim Demint. Neither one are progressives.

I watched his last TV show today. It seemed like he intended to explain something about his future plans but if he did I didn’t catch it.

I’m a Conservative!

The most conservative person on the ballot gets my vote, No More Rinos!

One of my favorite examples of late is Fred Upton.

Lately he’s whining about the EPA preventing offshore drilling but he himself has voted to ban slant drilling under the great lakes from shore.

Amen to that. Being a rightwing, conservative is more important than being a RINO, er I mean..Republican.

“The most conservative person on the ballot gets my vote, No More Rinos!”

I can see where you’re coming from, but here’s the rub: even if genuinely conservative Democrats survive the primaries and somehow win the general election, they inevitably knuckle under to DNC leadership when the really important votes come around. Besides, for any politician to get elected, he or she has to appeal to the party base— and that means cutting deals with far more liberal elements of the Democrat Party.

Was that Beck or Savage (or both) that was undecided until the last week, about whether to vote for McCain or Obama?

Just moments after his "I hate Republicans, too" remark a weepy, preachy Beck then went on to make a heartfelt plea to his audience not to give in to hate, but to love their political opponents.

Fred Upton.......... *sigh*

I could rant about him for an hour. But I won’t. He is like so many other progressives in the republican party. Not worth the time.

We just need to identify them, and defeat them.

Beck has gone over the edge as he became too aware too fast. He can't handle it. It is better to become aware over a period of many years. When your illusion of what is really going on becomes shattered too quickly it is very disturbing emotionally.

That dumbsh*t, Fred Upton?

They had eight, no wait six, because of their previous FU's, to shrink - not expand - the fed. What did they do? WHAT did they do?

John Derbyshire: Eight Wasted Years
...Margaret Thatcher used to talk about the “ratchet effect.” When the Left gets power, she said, they drive everything Left; when the Right gets power, they slow the Leftward drive, perhaps even halt it for a spell; but nothing ever gets moved to the Right. U.S. politics in the 21st century so far bears out this dismal analysis. What does the Right have to show for eight years of a Republican presidency? I supported George W. Bush in 2000 because I thought he had a conservative bone in his body somewhere. I supported him in 2004 because I thought him the lesser of two evils. At this point, I wouldn’t let the fool park his car in my driveway. Bruce Bartlett was right, every damn word...
Bill Gertz interview on Hannity and Colmes
Gertz: Well he casts himself as a compassionate conservative and I argue that he's neither. That his administration is neither. He's done tremendous damage to the conservative movement...

Alamo? I forget.

uh, there is a world of difference between the parties. are there moron Republicans? Hell yes. are there sane Democrats? not many.

The preponderance of sanity is on the Republican side.

I really get irritated when a Democrat is in power, how everyone says “THEY’RE ALL A BUNCH OF CROOKS”. But when a Republican is in power the meme is “THE REPUBLICANS ARE CROOKS!”

If was asked if he’s trying to save the country. He said he’s trying to save the world. Wow! That’s a pretty big assignment.

I still wish I could ask him who exactly he thinks we’re going to shoot with those guns he’s telling us to get. And how long before the shooting starts.

I agree, Upton needs to go before he does more damage to the country.
