Love dry and boiling!!!
Conservatism 101....boring as hell to me....although may be of some value to a number of the politically clueless. I turned it off when the first commercial came on.
Appearing woefully unprepared, Fox had an opportunity for a real creative, novel zinger in this time slot, but.....
ZZZZZZzzzzz
Leni
Does he ever sleep?
Good idea!
Did you get a chance to check out his preview videos?
Wow, he's one busy man!
It is a tad warm and humid.
I have a plan to air condition the state and increase rainfall.
Mega-engineering project.
It’s about 20-30 minutes away from me also, only I don’t have any wealthy friends that live there. I do wish we could hold some kind of a ‘welcome to Texas’ rally or greeting though. Maybe outside of the gated entrance? It would be great to show him what Texas hospitality is like vs. that New York inhospitality he endured at Bryant Park.
“I have a plan to air condition the state and increase rainfall.
Mega-engineering project.”
Is it “shovel-ready”?
I watched part of it. It’s extremely boring. Fox News ratings just went waaay down with the loss of Beck.
All monies will go into GBTV to get it to profitability and then he goes and buys a big chunk of land and builds the dream Hacienda somewhere near Ted Nugent and or Marcus Latrell....
Yep ... a huge, well protected, safe ranch for the Beck empire is probably in the cards. Beck, the cattle rancher .. I can just see it .. Yee Haw! ...LOL
I have a feeling: not much. He’s on fire with ideas.
Nope.
It will take about 5 years of engineering and design work first.
My idea is huge building over 3000 feet high. It is shaped like a converging/diverging nozzle. It has curved buttresses that bring any wind into the bottom while compressing the air like a turbine engine. In the center there are gas burners and a turbine to generate electricity.
The idea is to harness the wind and hot, humid air into a controlled updraft. The hot, humid air will punch into the stratosphere and create a static thunderstorm every day as long as there is enough moisture.
The exterior of the building has condos so that the project can bring in RE income. Imagine the view from 3000 feet!
Dotting a number of these across West Texas would provide a lot of irrigation water to bring that land under cultivation.
Everything is BIG in Texas.
Amen and preach it!
Agreed. Houston would be my first choice hands down. San Antonio my second. Other Texas cities fall behind those two.
Gladly. Austin is the “wrongest”. The Valley and El Paso are the second “wrongest”. Dallas is the third “wrongest”.
I hope this helps.
Westlake is closer to Fort worth than Dallas. I’m curious why Houston is not in your top three.
I’ll take Foat Wuth over Big D or Chuston any day.
Greater Houston isn’t included because it is far less liberal than Dallas, because it has less government, because it has a lower cost of living, because it arguably has the world’s greatest medical center, because it has a deep technological base, because it is an international port city, and because it has terrific “winter” weather (summer is hard in both Houston and Dallas).
Fort Worth is a wonderful small city that has far more character than Dallas.
WOW - and the best news is the increased safety.
That’s a good idea!!! I bet Beck would love that. I’m not sure how we’d go about doing something like though. My friends in Vaquero don’t know him at this point so I’m not sure how they could help with that. But maybe when we find out a bit more details about the move and when it appears to take place we can maybe plan something.
We love our air conditioning here for sure :-)
