GOP leadership opens door to homosexual rep

Homosexual Republicans are celebrating what they see as a major victory for their cause. According to the Log Cabin Republicans, the Republican National Committee -- which is the central arm of the Republican Party -- has named the homosexual group's executive director to the RNC's Finance Committee. That committee is the fundraising arm of the RNC.

The Log Cabin group says R. Clarke Cooper will play a "critical" role in raising funds for the party's efforts to elect Republicans to the White House and across the country. Cooper says he will be working to elect what he calls "pro-equality Republicans."

Bob Kabel, a former national chairman of the Log Cabin Republicans who now chairs the District of Columbia Republican Committee, lauds Cooper's new role and references the GOP's "winning strategy for 2012, one based upon inclusion and the conviction that with a big tent the GOP can recapture the White House." Social conservatives who normally support the GOP have often expressed concern about the homosexual group gaining greater influence in the party.

The thing is that homosexual “conservatives” are so few as to be virtually non existent. Its an utter waste of time and resources to pick up that few thousand total votes when you’ll lose millions of conservatives.

I don’t get it—
I’m not threatened by gays. Pro-equality votes are votes. First, we have to win this next election, and then we can sort it all out.

Can I be the GOP rep for men over 50 who enjoy having vaginal sexual intercourse with woman to whom they are married?

So, the Republican Party appoints a homosexual activist to raise money for the party. And just what kind of candidates are going to recieve this money? Social conservatives? Obviously not. Why do they want to lose? Are they suicidal? They're kicking millions of social conservatives to the curb. What next, people? Where do we go from here? Ideas?

I'm pretty sure the RINOs are trying to force a third-party exodus to throw elections to the Dems, for which RINOs will, as always, blame conservatives while they laugh it up with their real friends.

If you’re not threatened by the homosexual agenda, you must be in favor of it.

The homosexual agenda is busily destroying our freedoms of religion, speech and association, as well as the military, and the natural family, and childrens’ innocence.

This means nothing to you?

I sometimes look at statements made by people who have been posting here for 8 years or more and just shake my head. I think many have long been under the illusion that this is a Republican blog rather than a conservative blog.

if the homosexual crowd wants to give us money, fine. if they want to vote for us, fine. The AMERICAN PEOPLE do not tolerate homosexuals in leadership positions in the Republican party nor do they tolerate homosexuals elected as Republicans.

We lost 2006 because of a half dozen people.

NO MORE 2006 EVENTS.

I;ll say it again. If all the people who think a 3rd party can’t win joined/voted tea party, it would dwarf the republican party. And we would win.

Fear is what stops many.

Isn’t the overall deal that the tea party kills all the RINOs in the primary. It was great fun to kill off Mike Castle in Delaware. That’s what the tea party does. The RINO establishment destroys the party and the tea party voters destroy the bad Republicans.

Are you threatened by people who prefer sex with sheep?

You are correct, you do not get it. On this subject there are those who get it and there are useful idiots.

Hey all the candidates say they are conservative, there is no standard. I have been here since 98 and vote for the candidate who is most conservative [my standard pro-life and pro-jobs] even if that means 3rd party. I have voted for Buchanan. I have never voted for a Democrat. I don't waste my vote on lesser of evils. I want my vote counted even if I lose.

Sweeping all opposition before it the coalition continues to roll on to final victory. Soon the Republican party will be composed solely of left wing blacks, homosexuals, illegal aliens, asians and for flavoring a sprinkling of convicted felons.

Before you walk on the country, walk on the Whigs....I mean the GOP.

I have voted every opportunity for almost forty years. Sometimes my issue won, most times it didn't. But when my issue was victorious, it was overthrown by some F.A. puke in a black robe.

I've seen my neighborhood where we've lived for the last 30 years slowly turn into a a cruising ground for thugs and taggers.

I've been beat down by the media and their partners the left, public sector unions and higher 'education'.

The concept of shame, of doing the right thing is almost gone.

I am 'demanded' to show respect to every person regardless of their perversion or anti-social thought. (poopy! this is a good beginning of an opus!)

It saddens me is that beyond these walls not too many people in this country care what happens as long as they can afford the payments for the latest gizmo or who wins on America's most whatever.

So that's why I'm thinking of getting out while I'm still not too old and while TSA still doesn't require exit visas.

I'll celebrate Independence day but for me sadly not in a traditional way. My independence from a society who just don't care.
